Easy access, great paved trails for biking or walking, big dog park with access to a lake for the dogs who love to splash! This park has plenty to keep everyone happy, climbing wall with a zip line, big swimming area, lots of picnic tables and shelters. The campground has a nice store and easy check-in. Most of the sites...

This county park has all the fun a family could want - walking and bike trails, water park, climbing wall, paddle boats, kayaks, playgrounds, picnic areas, primitive and RV camping and a dog park with water access for splashing and swimming. It's easy to get to and the closest camping area to the historic Charleston peninsula and Folly Beach. It's...

This campground was outstanding. When we phoned to book we were unsure if we would need 5 or 6 nights and Elizabeth very kindly pointed out that if we booked 7 nights we'd get a 30% discount...for a pop-up site (#32) this ended up saving us more than $50 and we ended up needing all 7 nights to see and...

So much to do for such a reasonable price. Water park, climbing wall, bike trails, and hiking. The park is extremely well kept and very close to downtown Charleston. Don't let the name "county park" scare you away from staying here. It is as good or better than most private campgrounds.

They had a cancellation for two campers so we were so excited. Was not disappointed. Campground was wonder. Christmas lights were AMAZING. I was so happy my hubby got to go. His first time, my second (12 yrs ago). Rode the train that was nice. Some things have changed some have not. Would definitely go again. Maybe just hubby and...

We stayed here when visiting Charleston in November, 2016. I was hesitant about staying at a 'county park', but this campground is phenomenal. Pretty drive after you enter the gates, pass a lake and arrive at the campground. Our campsite was a pull-thru that was 95 feet long - we could have put two full size rv's in that site!...

Don't let the name "County Park" scare you off, the features here are as good as most private campgrounds at a much lower cost. Unlike most SC State Parks, the sites here are full hook up with sewer, power, and water. They also require little if any blocking to get your rig level. There is a water park, small lake...

How can you go wrong with a campground inside a beautiful park & the bonus its 15 minutes from the beautiful city of Charleston. Sites were roomy & level with all services w/s/e. Nice clean restrooms & showers.

We originally thought we had pulled into the wrong place. This place was so nice! The grounds were beautiful and so well maintained. I never saw one bit of litter. The restrooms were always cleaned and stocked. The primative camping (where we stayed) were set off from the RV campsite and very peaceful. The sites were not too close together...

JICP is a huge park! The RV and Campground are nice and shaded, our spot (97) was on a corner and quite large. The park itself is extensive, with plenty to do including a rock wall, long walking trails, and a Splash Park (costs extra to get in) in the summer. Our favorite part was the dog park. We travel...
