Sites are good size. Hookups work as expected. Entire park, besides the campground is very well maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. Some sites flooded during this trip. Charleston has a lot to see and do ~~ and the food!!

I cannot think of a negative thing about this campground. Large spaces, Nice bath houses. Clean and green! Great service by an accommodating staff. They had a HUGE off leash dog park. All with reasonable prices. Quiet nights for good sleeping!

We only wish we had booked more time here. This park is beautiful- clean grounds, spacious sites, great bath houses, and nice trails nearby. The proximity to Charleston is perfect! Great for family camping or a couples get-away.

This is a beautifully maintained campground and park. So many activities and extremely close to historic downtown Charleston, but you would never know it as this park is so huge you feel you are really out in the country. We were here for a week in April and before leaving, booked another week for August when we return to watch...

This is an amazing place, very hidden away. Our son had visited and told us about it. What a nice place. Lot's to do from picnic, fish, bikes or just relaxing. Seems well kept and pretty clean. We got to see a family of Canadian geese with several babies...my wife loved it...highly recommended.

We camped in our teardrop camper for three nights. It was very nice and quite. Clean facilities and courteous employees. Great place to ride bikes or go for a walk. A lot of activities to do in the park, especially if you have children. ie. splash zone, water park, Frisbee golf and crabbing dock.

We stayed in the campground for three nights. The sites are well spaced and most are private to semi-private. The facilities are well maintained. The drive into historical Charleston is very easy from here

Bike trails everywhere, large playground in the county park area, splash pad for the kiddos. We also enjoyed the "outdoor festival" that was going on whwre we were able to try out archery,...

We enjoyed our time here! We camped for 7 nights. Showers were great, entire campground area was cleaned daily, staff was helpful. We stayed in the primitive area, so there was no electricity or water at our campsite. We charged our phones in our vehicle and at the rv bathhouse. If you stay in the primitive area, there are no...
