The staff were amazing. Friendly and pleasant. The location is excellent for the downtown area as far as restaurants and bars. We had a blast and I plan on returning some day soon to see a little more. It was a quick trip.

I can't say enough about the great experience we had at this hotel during the Thanksgiving week. Beginning with the lobby which is very large and welcoming with lots of tables to gather at and a nice warm fireplace with fresh coffee always available. There was also a large and lovely outside courtyard with seating. The staff was very friendly and...

We couldn't ask for a more perfect review for your perfect stay. Thank you so much for your incredible words about your stay with us. We wish we could do something about the parking charge but sadly we don't have our own garage. We hope that you will choose us again the next time you are in town. Kevin Eichman...

Outstanding location that was 10 minutes or less to most of historic locations or less. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. right across the street from the free bus service. Staff was very good at giving directions to sites and restaurants in the area.

Overall, I was satisfied with this hotel. It's not overly impressive but is quality for the price we paid. It's a great location for the free Dash shuttle being right across from the visitor center. We appreciated the coffee/tea bar that is out in the lobby, but found it was a bit on the edge of the historic areas that...

Definitely needs updating - bathroom door didn't stay open, nor would it close all the way. Breakfast was okay. Elevators are questionable. We made this reservation on the fly after a trip up north was cancelled because of snow so I didn't research as much as usual.

The inn and its staff were wonderfully welcoming and pleasant. The inn sits immediately across from the Visitor's Center, which is a lovely, informative place -- with FREE trolleys to and from the rest of the Charleston area. We were told of a super place to try our first Gullah food - Virginia on King -- DELicious shrimp and grits...

the hotel was in a good location and the price was right. Room 249 had 3 windows and was very nice. The Italian restaurant on the alley that is owned by hotel owner was also very good. I think the hotel could use an update in decor but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was what I expect in...

Not your typical Hampton Inn. This is a beautiful restoration of an old building right where you need to stay if visiting Charleston. The accomodations are really good. Large rooms with large comfy bathrooms. Breakfast is very well presented with plenty of choices. The visitors center Is right across the street. You can walk to many restaurants and shops.
