there are few places on the planet that offer this grand an experience. The Inn was fabulously constructed, elegantly appointed and beautifully maintained. The breakfasts are always interesting and different each day. The owner often visits to complement the very professional staff to offer insights on the history of the property. The rooms are all special and each one designed...

Many times you get what you pay for and this is one of those times. I believe this is the nicest B & B in all of Charleston. The staff is attentive and very eager to wait on you (one might be a little too eager), loved the peach ice tea available all day and the treats in the afternoon....

My wife and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Two Meeting Street Inn. It is located at the Southern end of Meeting Street, in a marvelous position right on Battery Park with a great outlook. The Historical section of the town surrounds it while many of the great Restaurants are within comfortable walking distance. The whole experience is one...

We have stayed at different locations while in Charleston but Two Meeting Street Inn is by far the most enjoyable. Time has been taken to polish every detail so please, if you do stay, sit back, relax and let the beauty and charm of this wonderful inn touch your very soul.

The Inn is located in a beautiful and peaceful location. In addition, I found the treatment to be that of genuine kindness, and particularly from Blanch. Blanch was incredibly gracious and genuinely kind to me. She is the reason I chose to stay at the inn several times.

This is a must if you have time in Charleston. The Inn is convenient on Meeting Street. The area is quiet and allows you to sleep and relax very well. Breakfasts are terrific. Afternoon Tea and evening Sherry are also worth the time.

My husband and I had seen this B& B when we were on a previous trip to Charleston, and thought it looked charming. This time we were able to book a room there, and it was lovely! We booked the "master bedroom" which had a lovely porch overlooking the "Battery". It was a large room with a sitting area and...

This is the place I've always wanted to stay in Charleston. It's right on the Battery, with a gorgeous home and gorgeous gardens. It did not disappoint! We actually brought our two young adult sons along with us because we were there right after a family reunion in NC. Everything was perfect -- a beautiful large room, very comfy beds,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Circa 1890. In the center of the historic district overlooking prestigious South Battery, this turreted Queen Anne was built as a wedding gift from a father to his daughter. It is one of the area's oldest bed & breakfast inns, offering Southern hospitality and a romantic heritage. Tiffany stained-glass windows, crystal chandeliers and English oak woodwork are accented by fresh flowers, Oriental rugs and family heirlooms. Traditional antiques furnish the elegant guest bedrooms. Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast in the courtyard or oval dining room. The famous arched piazza features rockers that invite relaxation while gazing beyond the century-old live oaks to the harbor.
