Location not nearly as desirable as advertised due to unsafe surroundings, rude & unhelpful staff working the front desk, do not clean rooms for 5 days at a time, hallways unclean as well. Completely overpriced for the lack of accommodations.
As a Platinum Elite member, I was extremely disappointed with this location. The front desk staff to the GM couldn’t be bothered with the issues/concerns I expressed while onsite or after. 1. Bedsheets with makeup and a strong perfume smell. 2. Shower rod falling out of the wall and couldn’t take a shower without flooding the bathroom. 3. An Individual sleeping at the front desk (Friend of Staff). 4. No bottled water for purchase Thursday-Monday. 5. GM using Covid as an excuse for poor service. 6. The AC unit not working properly. 7. The list could go on...
What an incredible disappointment. The rude attitude of the staff made the ghetto like surroundings seam appropriate. Stay away from this one. I have stayed with this chain for decades and after this experience I am changing.
The holiday on Meeting Street is just north of the start of the King Street strip where all of the activity is located. It's just about a two block walk down Wolfe Street until you hit the main drag. Although it's not in the middle of the strip it's certainly convenient. The rooms are pretty large and the bathroom has plenty of space to move about. The shower is walk-in style and is pretty large. The rooms include a mini fridge and there are plenty of USB ports and electrical outlets to charge all of your devices. The AC unit was whisper quiet and worked flawlessly. The mattress was medium firm and comfortable. The pillows a bit overstuffed for my liking. Staff here are very friendly and accommodating. TIP: parking will cost you here, $30.00 a day when we stayed. Other wise you will have to search out public parking, still around 20.00 a day.…
Nice hotel. Clean rooms, and very friendly and helpful staff. Location is good for touring and close by a number of good restaurants. The only drawback for us was the mandatory valet parking charge of $30 per night, as the parking is beyond limited
