Jack and Annalise provide a great place to stay in Charleston. Close to restaurants, parks and downtown. Its like staying with relatives, only you like these relatives.

We recently enjoyed our second stay at the B&B with my father-in-law, and the experience was nothing short of perfect. Annelise Simmons is delightful, with an encyclopedic knowledge of the city, history, and homes of Charleston (and the South). She and husband, Jack, are warm, welcoming, and charming, just the kind of hospitality you’d expect of gracious Southerners. They made...

Jack (Dr. Simmons)and Annelise welcome you into their home and before you leave you feel you have become a family friend. In the evening the guests gather in the living room (with a cozy fire) for wine, beer and cheese/bread/crackers and soon you move from being another face in a crowd to a new friend. It is an unique experience....

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful remarks. We thoroughly enjoyed having you. There should have been glasses and shampoo in the private bathroom. If this was an omission on our part we apologize and would have provided them if notified. Our tap water is very pure; therefore, for environmental reasons, we do not provide bottled water which...

This is without doubt the finest b&b that we have stayed in - a beautiful builidng, tastefully furnished and with the most charming hosts. 15 Church Street is a handsome building in a quiet street in the historic district of Charleston, filled with period furniture and objects - behind which lie some fascinating stories if one can persuade Jack and...

This is a fantastic B&B - the best we have experienced in our travels. It is located in a beautiful & quiet residential area, very close to waterfront park. The owners/staff are outstanding. They go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable and engaging experience. You have your privacy whenever you want it, but also have great...

This was the most comfortable and welcoming B&B in which we have ever stayed. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and the bathrooms also are very large, spotless and modern. We spent several pleasant hours on the porch in the evenings, where wine and cheese are a daily offering. Couldn't ask for a better experience....

Can't normally be bothered to write reviews but this B&B is outstanding. The owners who run it could not do enough to make our stay really enjoyable. Jack and Annelise were very kind to us - giving advice about what to see, lending us their telephone, booking restaurants etc. Our top floor room (Rose) was very comfortable and quiet because...

We traveled to Charleston for a few nights in September, and spent the first two in this wonderful bed and breakfast. Jack and Annelise were exceptionally gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. We stayed in the Cypress room, which is in the lower level of the house. It was a convenient room to stay in,...

Our group of five had a wonderful stay at 15 Church. Annelise and Jack are such gracious hosts - helpful but not intrusive. Their beautiful home is a wonderful place to stay with comfortable beds and pillows, great water pressure and plenty of hot water, yummy breakfast at a time of your chosing, and a perfect location on a charming...

Only a block off the battery in the heart of historic Charleston. Jack and Annelise bring their love for history and art into each experience. Cocktails on the porch prepare you for each day's experience. Charleston regulations mean NO traffic to disturb at night and walking distance to the best restaurants.
