We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the hallway and elevators and elevator lobbies were filthy dirty, don’t think anyone ever ran a vacuum cleaner, on 2 occasions the room before the elevator on our floor threw their dirty towels out on the floor and they sat there for at least a half day on each occasion!! This hotel was a real dump and otherwise ruined a nice visit to Charleston! Would not recommend staying at this hotel!

We stayed at this property this past weekend and it was very busy. Not sure if that was why service was so terrible. But it is evident that they are understaffed. When we got to our room we noticed there were only two towels in that bath and there were three of us booked into the room. Luckily there was a maid nearby and I was able to ask her a get one more towel. God thing because we never got any more towels or any service during the rest of our stay (3 nights). We requested service the second night were told that it was not possible to have our room serviced. We asked if we could at least get a couple of towels and coffee cups and were told yes. But - never got the towels and had a couple of cups tossed on the bed when we returned. Will never recommend or stay here again. It’s too bad because it’s not a bad location and the room was nice. There is a Starbucks in the lobby but it was never staffed. Also a “Lobby Bar” that was never staffed. This place needs better management and staffing.

My sisters and came for a well needed girls trip and stayed at the Hyatt Place. It was the quickest check in I have ever experienced. It's in a great location on King St and the staff is AMAZING and extremely helpful. Very kind!

I had to communicate with the front desk that our toilet was clogged, there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, the phone did not work in our room, and the garage system was not clearly explained to us on how to properly enter/exit. I had to press the emergency button to call the garage personnel in order to exit. Overall, the front desk was less than helpful with anything I needed.

After an extended quarantine, we were stoked about the idea of an escape. So we planned our trip with high hopes. This hotel is meh. Some people respect the mask rule, others don’t. The indoor pool, the main attraction for our 13 year-old long-time housebound son, was closed for cleaning. Understandable sure. But I would have elected a nicer joint for less $$ if that had been advertised. Parking is an ordeal. Next time we will choose another place. Sub par at best. We found stains and dollops of goo on the limited counters/desk space. No thanks.
