First time staying here and was pleasantly surprised! Happy hour (free) in lobby nightly and very quaint courtyard. Our room was a little cozy but walk in shower and there were only 2 of us so it was complexity fine. Right a cross street with variety of wine bars. Family friendly. Would stay here again! And it was very quiet at night, so got a good nights sleep.

Hotel's Favourite
Love this charming hotel! Beautiful and relaxing courtyard with fountain. Quaint rooms. Comfortable bed. I enjoyed the free wine and cheese/fruit at 6 pm plus the free coffee/tea in lobby was excellent! Location is perfect and all the restaurants/bars/shops/parks and attractions are within walking distance so you don't need to rent a car. Friendly staff. Thank you for the late check out. Highly recommend while exploring Charleston!

We so enjoyed our week long stay at The Indigo Inn. It is in the best location! Shopping, carriage rides, Bulldog Tours, and amazing restaurants are within a 2 minute walk from the hotel door! The courtyard is so cute and the perfect place to have breakfast in the morning! The history of the Inn is fantastic, too.. This city is filled with history and stories, so make sure to ask about where you are at! There is bound to be some cool story about it!! We will definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and nice fresh linen but carpet needed replaced. Have stayed several times but will reconsider next time for the price charged. I will say that all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I think COVID has taken its toll on this unique hotel and their ability to maintain

Hotel needs lots of maintenance and repairs as well as a major clean up. Very poor representative of Indigo hotel Best part was location and very nice people working there Added on big fee for parking and the little dog we brought with us. Our dog went under bed and brought out an old empty water bottle !

Response from General Manager, General Manager at Indigo Inn
Responded 2 weeks ago
Dear Ritaeidel, We are sorry that we do not live up to your expectations. There has been some major pollen falling in the area over the last couple of weeks and we try to get this cleaned up as best and as quickly as possible but this time of year it is quite a challenge when the green dust falls constantly day and night. We look forward to having this time end and bring back the sparkle to the Indigo Inn. We do charge $16 for parking per night in our parking lot and we intentionally keep it about half of what you would typically pay in downtown Charleston for parking (usually around $30-$40 per night in other lots), so that our guests have a reasonably priced place to park. Charleston downtown has limited parking opportunities and we always want to give a competitive price to our guests. We ask the $40 / night for a guest animal to stay so we can help support the extra cleaning efforts the housekeeping staff does after a pet leaves. This is to ensure we have the cleanest room possible for the next guest. Again I am sorry your stay was not what you expected but I hope you will give us another chance in the future! Best Wishes, The Indigo Inn Team
