We arrived at the Meeting Street Inn early in the afternoon on Friday and was greeted with such warmth by Jo at the front desk. The Inn dates back to the 1800's and is in wonderful condition. We truly were captivated by its southern charm. Very close walking distance to the straw market and all the popular attractions of Charleston.

We were welcomed by Jo and given a 3rd floor Queen Bed room in this beautiful historic inn in downtown Charleston. Canopy Bed was so pretty. The staff sent up a bottle of Champagne for my birthday celebration. Inn is quaint and older but very cozy and clean. Staff is so accommodating. Breakfast daily included casseroles and Hot Cinnamon rolls....

We moved over from the deluxe Belmond Charleston Place (business trip) down the block to the Meeting Street Inn for one night, and in some ways we liked our Meeting Street experience better! Friendlier, more authentic, and less expensive. The staff was very helpful when we couldn't get a desk lamp working in our room--they replaced it immediately. Am only...

The Meeting Street Inn is a beautiful boutique Charleston Inn, constructed in the 1800s and a great example of classic Charleston architecture. Rooms are wonderful, many with excellent views of the city. Breakfast is included and excellent, especially if you eat on the piazza. The staff is extraordinary, always ready to recommend a fantastic restaurant; and best of all, the...

We stayed for five nights in a first floor double room. We arrived a little early, but we were able to check in, as our room was all ready. The room was a good size. It had two chairs and a table. An armoire with drawers and a small closet space on each side, a small safe, iron & ironing...

This hotel dates back over 150 years. The location is within EASY walking distance to the heart of the city. Parking for the hotel is not free and is about 2 blocks away, but it does seem to be somewhat secure. The rooms are small, but very nicely decorated in period type furniture. The staff is very friendly and offers...

This is a charming hotel in a great location. Our room featured double four-poster beds. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. And best of all - outstandingly helpful staff! They drove us back and forth to their off-site parking lot, recommended restaurants, provided driving directions and printed my boarding passes for me.

We stayed at The Meeting Street Inn on our recent trip to Charleston based on recommendations from family. We has a great time, and were very pleased with the hotel! We arrived mid-morning before our room was ready. The staff was so polite and allowed us to store our bags in the back room while we went out to explore....
