The owners are very organized and have thought of everything. We will definitely return to this home away from home that welcomes strangers in a real southern style. Homemade cookies for the taking added a nice touch!

This is a nice change from the cookie cutter hotel chains. This Guest House has rooms with a kitchen that is available for the guests to use. This reminds me of visiting relatives growing up. They have cable tv with a huge selection of channels and a wireless connection with good bandwidth. The room has a comfortable bed. The kitchen...

Comfortable beds, full, nicely stocked kitchen and a front porch where we sat in rocking chairs and drank our coffee and read the local paper on Sunday morning while listening to the church bells ring. This could not have been more perfect. The inn keepers were nice too. It was a perfect place to reconnect with a dear friend.

Thanks so much for your nice review! I love the image you describe of sitting on the front porch, rocking, and reading the Sunday paper in our pretty Southern town. Such a relaxing scene! Life is indeed a little slower in Cheraw. Thank you and we hope to see you again soon! Kay

Not many good hotel choices in Cheraw so the Spear Guest House is absolutely the best by far. Quiet and comfortable and within walking distance of town. It's just so comfortable. Wireless cable, ATT U-Verse, and a well stocked pantry.

We love staying at the Spears Guest House. We have visited each summer for the last three years. It is the most comfortable, inviting, beautiful place in the Cheraw area. We prefer to stay there whenever visiting family in the area.

We spent two nights at the Spears Guest House and thoroughly enjoyed the well-appointed accommodations. Very much like staying in a self-catering cottage! The Spears are friendly hosts and chock full of good information about the area. We will DEFINITELY stay here next time we come to town! HIGHLY Recommend.
