We have just spent 14 days at this wonderful B&B, what a wonderful time we had! Sandie & Mark are perfect hosts and tend to everyone's special requests, so much so that on the last day everyone gets their special choice of breakfast. Everyone staying ,chose different and Sandie certainly provided a feast! Mark entertained us with his amazing sense...

We had a wonderful time and Mark and Sandie are excellent hosts. House is just beautifully decorated and bed was so comfy. Wonderful Antique shops nearby, too. Great restaurants nearby and shopping. Great to just sit on front porch and rock or lounge or go sit by the pool (little too cool for us to swim this time)...beautiful peaceful setting....

The reviews on An Inn on York Street on this site are so true. We have been here 3 times now. We knew what to expect, but something magical happened on this trip. It seems only nice people visit Sandie and Mark! We enjoyed the company on and off the golf course with Doug and Patsie, from Ohio, Diane and...

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Mark and Sandie took excellent care of us and made our stay extra special. The Inn was so clean and beautiful and Sandie provided wonderful meals for all. (great coffee!) Mark did a great job of setting up golf courses, packing a 'goodie' bag of snacks and water and...

I just returned from a South Carolina visitor with 2 friends. We spent two nights at this charming inn. Sandie and Mark were excellent hosts...almost felt as if we were friends stopping in for a visit. The breakfasts were scrumptious, especially the first course fruit--loved both the plums with cinnamon and the poached pears with ginger. Chester is a sleepy...

My husband and I really enjoyed or stay we were treated like a king and queen. They treated us with dignity and respect. We enjoyed our privacy. Mark and Sandie was able to tell us sites to visits and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Stefanie and I were recently in the Chester area for a weekend family reunion. Fortunately, we chose An Inn on York Street for our stay. It is in the Historic District of Chester, which is a time capsule of Americana. This 1890's, two story, former children's hospital, makes for a delightful B&B when it is hosted by Mark and Sandie....

Mark and Sandie are delightful! Warm and entertaining, Mark has a plethora of jokes for all tastes, but a few glasses of wine will bring out his best! The Mark Twain room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. The queen bed was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was wonderful and varied....

After 8 fabulously wonderful days at the Inn on York Street we can tell you the hosts, Mark and Sandie are wonderful and are the best innkeepers we have ever stayed with. All the rooms are lovely, the house is immaculate but still homey(a very hard thing to do with people coming and going) and you are encouraged to make...
