First time staying in this excellent hotel. Beautiful lake setting and wonderful landscaping. Parking was good and had easy access. Room was very comfortable and shower was great, also had a 50 inch flatscreen!! Definitely recommend and definitely will return.

Recently stayed a couple nights at the conference inn since they completed renovations. Rooms have nice finishes and the new large showers are great. Went for a run around the lake next to golf course. Wish I had brought my clubs as the golf course looks great.

Stayed here for move in weekend. The actual room was fine - nothing wowed me. No mini fridge would be the only complaint. The resturant is not open for breakfast, they have a small kiosk like they do in some Marriotts. The resturant is quite a long walk through the conference center. The food was good and prices very reasonable....

I was back at Clemson to attend the 50th anniversary of the program that I got my undergraduate degree in. The Inn, the Golf Course and new dorms under construction are certainly new to me. Clemson has certainly come a long way since I graduated in 1978. Go Tigers🐾

We have stayed at the Martin Inn several times over the last few years, and it is a consistently pleasant experience. The hotel is part of the conference center at the university and is therefore more like, well, a conference center than a standard travelers' hotel like a Hampton or Holiday Inn. No complimentary breakfast is provided (although there used...

We held our 81st Grant-Johnson reunion at this location and the grounds are beautiful. The service was very accommodating and efficient as well as super friendly. With it being on the grounds of a University, I never would have expected this setting. I definitely plan to visit and stay there again because it was so pretty.

We came to Clemson to visit the university. We wanted to try this place b/c of its affiliation with the school. They just went through a remodel about 6-12 months ago. Everything is crisp, beautifully decorated and just enough Clemson décor to make you feel the connection. The grounds are beautifully manicured. The hotel sits on a very large lake--also...

Thank you for your review! We love to hear that our guests enjoyed all aspects of the property. We lucky enough to be nestled on the shores of Hartwell Lake -- 1,000 miles of shore line extending in to GA! This is my second stay at this hotel. It is nice. Clean. Comfortable. I enjoyed both stays and if I were to return to Clemson for work in the future I would chose to stay here again. I can't speak to the price as we get a corporate rate but it is every bit as nice as most of the...

It's a perfectly nice and totally undistinguished place, where you get breakfast at a Starbucks outlet. The hotel has long, long corridors, the free WiFi is erratic, but it also provides excellent parking! And people are very friendly.

Very nice golf course setting facing the lake. Very close to Clemson, just across the street. The rooms were small but well appointed with a Kureig coffee maker in the room. Warm cookies and an attached Starbucks were part of the breakfast plan.
