We just stayed there on Friday and Saturday night because there was nowhere left in town to stay. I thought we could "rough it." More like wretching it than roughing it -- and for $139! We got locked out in the rain and cold both nights because they close the lobby at 11 and apparently go home or leave? Our...

Never ever stay at this hotel. The hotel is outdated, the carpet is stained and dirty, the hotel has a terrible odor. As we were attempting to check in the clerk notified us that many people at the hotel were sick. He proceeded to get down on his knees and vomit into the waste basket. We walked out! This is...

We have stayed at the Clarion many times. I used to think it was a decent hotel in a good location for a decent price. However, since the renovation started, things have definitely gone down-hill. ( Looks as if the renovation as come to a complete halt.) Our last stay was the absolute worst. First of all, everything looks beaten...

I hosted an event here and Brittany went out of her way to accommodate us. The hotel is under major renovations but we made the most of it. I will be hosting other weekend events in their ballroom twice a year and am looking forward to the new improvements.

As mid/late 20'somethings with the intention of staying briefly for the USC/Clemson football game, we weren't expecting anything extravagant. We were looking for a reasonable place, with reasonable proximity to the stadium at an acceptable price. That being said, we paid $107 a night to the Clarion to sleep in someone else's filth. The exterior of the hotel is under construction...

This could of been a great experience only if.....only if the front desk had explained to me that they were automatically taking out a "pre authorization" on my card after I had already checked in. Then to make matters worse the amount of the "pre authorization" was worth more than my room. Then they took out my room amount and...

Room One = vomit. Room Two = old pee. Didn't bother with Room Three for fear things would be worse. Bottom line read and believe all of the reviews. If you can handle old and crotchety but cheap then go for it.

I've stayed here several times in the past two years while visiting my kid at USC. Good location and price. But now they are in the process of a major renovation and are not maintaining even basic services. Broken elevators and ice machines on Homecoming weekend no less. And horrible customer service at the desk. I asked for a mini-fridge...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room must have been a smoking room at one time so that was a little unpleasant. The lounge was fun and we met some great people there. The construction certainly takes away from the place but it was still okay.
