I stayed at The Inn for a wedding and it has been one of the most pleasant experiences I've had in a long time. Upon check in I was greeted with wine and cheese, thinking it was compliments from the groom and bride found out it was a courtesy from the staff.. Not every hotel does that! The room was...

Arriving during a summer deluge, The Inn was a welcome respite. I arrived after 6:00 pm , exhausted and hungry. The wine and cheese offering was just perfect to take the hunger edge off as I was able to dry off and assess my surroundings. The room was large, but just as important, the bathroom was roomy with a large...

The first thing you notice on your way to The Inn At Claussen's is the neighborhood of homes built in the 1950's and the stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. You can feel the history in the area. The building is just beautiful and OLD, love it. The decor accentuates the historical beauty of the building. The...

What an absolute top notch location and grandiose historic inn. Just the right size to give guests superb individual attention. I could not believe that every staff person for my entire stay always had a smile and would say hello.....incredible. I was extremely impressed by the décor and the design of the rooms. I had a double queen bed which...

Curb Appeal: As you pull up to the Inn, you see a 2 story brick building and cannot help but notice the large, embossed sign of Claussen's Bakery that immediately sets the stage for you to feel right at home. Interior: From the moment you walk through the doors, you notice a lot of the original architecture that has been...

What a great location and just a really cute Inn. The staff could not have been nicer. The bed was SO comfortable. I took my son to his orientation at USC where he stayed, while I stayed at the Inn. I could not wait to get a good nights sleep in a quiet room. The only problem....Amtrak runs right beside...

Dear DonnaZ597, We appreciate your feedback and comments regarding your recent visit. We understand the train can be a distraction and we do have rooms in the center of the hotel which will muffle the horn a bit, and of course ear plugs at the desk. We do offer complimentary print services for our guests; The $1.00 charge (twice) on...

We had the privilege of recently staying at this beautiful, historic Inn located in Five Points, Columbia, SC for a family event. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, which is a direct reflection of how happy they are working here. We stayed in a room with a King sized, 4 poster bed which was VERY comfy and had plenty...

I was disappointed in the bed. It definitely needs replaced as it sunk in so low that there was not a comfortable spot to be found. The sound of water running in the upstairs bedroom is so very loud that I had to turn up the volume on the television every time the people upstairs decided to run a bath...

Very convenient to campus. Campus is literally walking distance away. I've read other reviews here about the train. It is near the tracks but after staying two nights, this is a non-issue. The continental breakfasts are prepared and delivered per the order tag to be left outside the door each night. Adequate selection and served to your room on a...

Dear SCCDLB, Thank you for sharing your comments and visiting us during USC orientation. I stayed there for two nights while attending orientation at USC. The facility was very nice. It is undergoing renovations on the top floor but we never noticed anything.
