This is a nice, quaint, quiet place in a very small town. We stayed for our anniversary in order to enjoy a dinner in Orangeburg. It was all I could do to convince my wife to give them a try after driving into the front parking area. I am glad we did, as we had the place to ourselves for... More

Having stayed last November as my previous review attest, we did return this month and stayed once again. It is an excellent value if you have Shirley fix dinner for you (at an added but very reasonable cost). Not sure where one would eat dinner in Ehrhardt, SC if you dinner reserve dinner here. The king bed room on the... More

Don't let the outside deter you....even the sign seems to be a work in progress. When we arrived, Frank was working on the exterior of this B&B. It looks like he is doing that a lot with a lot to do! BUT our stay with Shirley & Frank could not have been nicer. Their personalities shined throughout. The interior is... More

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here! It was a perfect weekend getaway. The Drayton Library room was so nice, and we had dinner served in our room both nights. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious! I would definitely recommend Ehrhardt Hall for a quiet retreat!

My wife and I were visiting the southeast corner of South Carolina and were looking for something in the center to use as a "base of operations," so we chose Ehrhardt. When we arrived at the B&B we were kind of take aback by the front of the house; the flooring on the left side of the porch was missing... More

I love South Carolina, and heard about this bed and breakfast, The hosts are truly very accomodateable and Shirley is an outstanding cook. The restoration that is going on outside is remarkable, they are working on the deck, however not to worry as once inside you feel like you have witnessed the South as it once was many years ago.... I've stayed in this place two different times, it was recommended to me since I had some business in the area. Now I see why my client insisted me to stay here, this place is nice, sleep quality was very good and the service is incredible. Obviously place is not perfect, it is located in a very old building so... More

The meals were exceptional. The hosts, Shirley and Frank, fulfilled our every need. The house is gorgeously decorated, and the atmosphere was comfortable and serene. Yes, the front exterior of this historic mansion is being restored, and that was fascinating too. This is a wonderful place to stay.

As a business traveler and family traveler I have stayed several weeks now at the Ehrhardt Hall B&B and had a wonderfull experience each time. I stayed there on business for 4 days straight then the next time I brought my wife and children with me (they prefer well behaved children and mine are!). The kids liked swimming in the... More

Shirley was a friendly and accommodating hostess. She gave us a tour of the house - generally larger rooms than most B&Bs with 12 foot ceilings. Our room and bath were very comfortable. Full TV selection. Wireless internet worked but was a bit glitchy, perhaps because of a storm. She made a special gluten-free breakfast which was first rate. Highly... More
