Bathroom floor sticky. Exhaust fan noisy No towel racks .Not enough chairs in room breakfast greasy and cold on hot items. tea water taste like coffee. Mold on tube they did not use proper caulk. Location good for outlet mall and I-85. Because of noise in bathroom could not sleep very well. Cracker Barrel next door if you want a good breakfast

The hotel is being remodeled, from 4th floor to 1st. We were in a 1st floor room that had black mold in bathroom. Told the front desk, they came and looked and said they were booked that weekend. They finally called and got us a room on 4th floor, found out that was the first floor to be remodeled. Couldn't tell that from hallway, but room at first glance looked nice. Bathroom was not completed, towel cubby not hung, walls not painted, but bed and other areas looked great. Later in night, walked by AC unit and found the floor soaked. Checked out the next morning and moved to new Hampton Inn in Shelby, NC, which was much better. No mention of giving us a discount or any concern that we had black mold and then a water room.

Booked the room as I would be in town again for business. Room booked was King Bed with pull out couch. When I arrived at 12 Midnight after a long day of work, I was told room was only 60% complete, and was neither offered compensation or an apology. I knew the Hotel was under Renovations, but don't advertise a complete room at full price, then when its after chance to cancel with no penalty, still charge me full price on room not complete. I stay at this hotel on average 6-12 times a year, I know what to expect. I am excited about the new look, once it will be completed. I honestly feel like I was taken advantage of and feel like 40% should be reimbursed to me.
