We stayed here for a week and it was great. 2 bedroom condo, on the beach. The only disappointment was no real balcony - just a 'Juliet' style - still nice accommodations. Close to great restaurants and Murrells Inlet. Nice beach. The staff here were wonderful.

I loved my recent stay at the Kingfisher Inn in Garden City, SC. Whoever posted the previous review must have not been here in a long while. We had a brand new HD TV in our room. The pool is pristine. Here are a few pictures from our stay. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. The Housekeeping was accommodating...

Our room made Motel 6 look like The Ritz. The ceilings and bathroom are in terrible condition. Can you believe in 2015 that a hotel room has 19" old style TVs? The bottom floor rooms are a hotel and the upper floors are time share condos. I do not know what these looked like. The redeeming factors are that there...

I stayed at Kingfisher due to a friend offering me a few nights at her timeshare. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the bedrooms and living areas. Kitchen could be updated, as could the bathrooms. Overall, it was a nice stay because the beach was not crowded since school was back in session. I would stay here again,...

This place is a dump!!! Paid $257 per night for a place that looks like is falling down! Pool is rusty and green! Build has chucks of stucco falling off! Way way out dated! Forget taking a bath only the shower will work. Will never, I mean never stay here, ever again and would not recommend anyone stay at the...

I've been coming here to the Kingfisher since I was about 5 years old love the location love all the people that work there, great staff. My only issue is the upkeep. Needs to be updated. My only other issue is when I went to look under the bed to make sure I didn't forget anything.....what did I see was...

I'm surprised at some of the comments I see since we go every year in June and don't "see" what they are complaining about. One was a cold pool in July. It is not heated but we were there in June and it was plenty warm enough. Parking is sparse but adequate. The place is old but clean. I sleep...

This is our go to place to stay in Garden City. Rooms are a little dated but they are clean and well kept. Its right on the beach, next door to the pier and across the street from Sam's Corner and the game rooms. Prices are reasonable for an ocean front room. Front desk staff is always friendly and never had...

We stayed at the Kingfisher Inn regularly more than 30 years ago and always enjoyed its location on the beach and the convenience of the pier right next door. Fast forward to the present - it is now dated and could use a serious face lift. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We enjoyed the cleanliness of our...
