Detailed Reviews
This is a nice, full service hotel that isn't too far from downtown Greenville. They have a great free breakfast. Lots of open lobby space for gathering with friends and family. The suites are very nice sized. The staff were very friendly with the exception of the person who checked us in. We were especially impressed with the breakfast staff who kept the buffet filled and worked hard to clear our plates so we could get more. It was a full house the night we were there and with the exception of some youth travel team kids running in the hallways (it didn't go too late), it was quiet and a nice environment. Indoor and outdoor pool. A nice bar with friendly staff. Our only complaint was with the person who checked us in. He seemed to be pretty rigid about his "script" and didn't really respond to humor. I had trouble getting out my ID because of an injury and he wouldn't accept my spouse's ID. Definitely an emphatic rule follower (I showed him my ID but it is very difficult to get out of my wallet). My fault yes but his response was very black and white. He then proceeded to tell us what we DON'T get (points, rewards) because we booked through an external site. I'll never understand it when guest services staff focus on the negatives instead of sharing all of the great things that we DO get. Later, as we waited for the bar to open and the rest of our party to arrive, we purchased grab and go canned drinks from the lobby. When we were ready to leave, I went up to the desk to ask where I could throw away the cans. Instead of him offering to take them (again, basic customer service) he directed me to the receptacle OUTSIDE the hotel. First world issues of course and it didn't impact our stay at all but definitely a teachable moment for this guest facing staff. GREAT system of texts while you are staying to ask how things are going, reminder about check out, etc. and they respond back so while probably automated, someone is reading them.

Hotel's Favourite
The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Greenville SC did a wonderful job hosting the SOFT Conference July 12-16 2023. SOFT is a parent support group for children with rare chromosomal conditions. All of the kids have disabilities, and the hotel and staff were wonderful. I would like to mention that the van drivers were accomodating for all of us. Pat was particularly helpful and his hospitality and courtesy was beyond the usual for staff in his role for our unique group.

**Review of Greenville Embassy Suites by Hilton Golf and Conference Center**
My recent stay at the Greenville Embassy Suites offered a generally pleasant experience with a few noteworthy details. While I’m accustomed to using e-check-in, the keycard system was down due to a door lock replacement project. This meant I had to provide a credit card for incidentals—something I haven’t needed to do in nearly a year. The check-in process itself, however, was smooth, with friendly front desk staff who recognized my Gold status and even provided two complimentary bottles of water, a gesture I hadn’t encountered in quite a few recent stays.
**Room Amenities and Cleanliness**
The room, located on the 8th floor, was spacious and clean. It included a living room area with a glass window facing the hallway (covered by a curtain for privacy), a pull-out sofa, coffee table, dining table, kitchenette, and ample lighting options. I appreciated the coffee maker with a pull-out cartridge filter, as it felt more sanitary than the typical pod machines.
**Bathroom and Bedroom Features**
The bathroom had standard amenities, with an added nightlight for convenience. In the bedroom, I found an alarm clock with AC outlets, USB, and USB-C ports, which was quite handy. Additionally, there was a wireless phone charging deck with more AC outlets, making it easy to keep devices powered up.
**Breakfast and Dining Options**
The breakfast buffet was a highlight, running until 10:00 a.m., which is later than most hotels and allowed for a more relaxed morning. The buffet included a custom-made station for pancakes and omelets, plus a variety of options like bacon, sausage, fresh fruits, and breads. Staff in the breakfast area were especially friendly, creating a positive atmosphere. The only downside was the coffee machine, which serves instant coffee rather than fresh-brewed.
**Convenience and Suggestions**
A small convenience store behind the front desk provided easy access to snacks, and overall, every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. However, the lock replacement process could have been managed better. After replacing my room lock, I was instructed to go back to the front desk to obtain a new key. A text alert or pre-made key would have been much more convenient, especially for guests returning with luggage in hand.
In summary, this Embassy Suites offers a solid stay with welcoming staff, clean rooms, and a great breakfast setup. A few adjustments in communication and planning around their lock replacement process would enhance the guest experience.

Rooms were musty and we suspect concerning mold in walls or hvac system. Made us sick. Temperature was uncomfortable and needs better airflow. All around I would say it’s unhealthy and needs extensive inspections for mold. There was a huge brown smudge on our bedroom wall but no other signs of insects. Housekeepers staff were pleasant and professional but given the resources corporate is giving them they are limited to perform their full duties. Hotel was overbooked with guests and events as huge family reunions and other events dominated any of the public amenities. The indoor pool has such a high level of chlorine that the chemicals burned our lungs and eyes just walking through the indoor pool room. Breakfast staff cooking omelets needs support. The staff member working the omelet bar was doing an amazing job but needs need added staff; long line due to property overpopulation and low staff caused great stress to someone attempting to provide hospitality. Food was not refilled on buffet and not good. Front staff was nice and professional. Overall low review and Hilton name should not be associated with this property.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was wonderful. We had breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday. The women who cook our omelette was wonderful. She was so friendly and joyful. The omelettes were delicious. The women who was picking up our plates at the table after breakfast also so professional and so sweet. Every single person we came in contact from the front desk to the security guard was so friendly and professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come again on our next visit.

I went for my second time to a retreat from Friday through Sunday. The experience was just as wonderful as it was last year! I did want to give a shout out to two employees who stood out to me.
Queen/Quinn (sorry for the spelling) made my custom omelet on Saturday and Sunday mornings. PERFECTLY executed and utterly delicious! In fact, all the food was delicious, breakfast being my favorite meal to start the day right. Their balsamic dressing was the best I've ever had.
I'd also like to compliment Viviana. She brought a brand new conditioner to replace the one I had emptied in the shower. What wonderful products they had (shampoo/conditioner, body wash and body lotion) and I enjoyed not having to unpack mine.
After learning that the facility I've been to in North Carolina wasn't going to hold our retreats anymore, I was wondering how this location would meet the bar set high by our previous facility. I'm so happy for the change--I've truly enjoyed my very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Amazing stay had a great time with family . And with our location being a quite prejudice area the workers were very respectful and kind a few dirty looks from other guests but nothing to the point where we were being badly disrespected . Rooms were okay the lighting in them could be a little better when we first walked in it took a while to get used to, rooms are cleaned fairly well but the design is more of a vintage nursing home look. The Pools inside and out are kept very well .Nice basketball ball court although the hoop net is falling apart and is now broken .Breakfast food is good and layout organized well. The workers once again kind and respectful. The eating area was clean and spaced well. The brownies and the cookies near the snack area by the front desk are DELICIOUS some days they have them some days they are all gone but I recommend you try them shout out to the baker who makes them . I enjoyed my stay at Embassy suites by Hilton Greenvile Golf resort and Conference center and I definitely recommend.

I forgot to write a review for our stay, but we love this hotel. It feels like a retreat, but its less than 15 minutes from Greenville center. The rooms are not the most modern, but they are always clean without chemical smells. The food is great. The breakfast buffet is always fully stocked, nothing too exotic but really good. The made to order omelettes are great, I'm not sure if they still make the pancakes on the weekdays with the new chef, but I recommend them. The dinner foods are great, I suggest the salad with grilled chicken, burger, southwest sandwich, and wings. The evening reception is great as well, mostly due to the great barstaff. One time we had a particularly unpleasant server, and the bar staff and management took care of it without us having to complain. That was a one-off because the staff is generally excellent. Going back this week, and I can't wait.

I was on a work trip and had an average stay. The hotel does have nice grounds and is not far from a beautiful golf course, but the interior is a bit tired. In my opinion the hotel could use a good scrubbing, I do not think it is cleaned enough for the volume of visitors they receive. The rooms are fine, the bed was comfortable and offered wifi and a big screen TV in each room. The hotel offers an onsite restaurant, or you can purchase snacks or pre-made food near the front desk. Hit or miss with the front desk staff, there were several very friendly team members who would greet you when you walked by, and others who largely ignored you unless you spoke with them. Hilton should do better.

I was attending a three day conference at this hotel and was very pleased with our accompanying stay.
The hotel has an attached golf course so the parking lot was huge with hundreds of spots. We were able to park directly in front of the entrance and were soon in the lobby checking in. Our Diamond status we recognized, amenity gift given, and quickly on the way to our 9th floor room.
We enjoy having the two room suites this brand has and found it spacious, well laid out, and adequate for our stay.
The breakfast each day consisted of a buffet and omelet station. Eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, and french toast were on the buffet each day and you also had the option to order an omelet.
Fruit, yogurt, breads, coffee, and cereals were also available. Disposable containers and utensils were being used but were okay considering the Covid issue.
We interacted with the staff several times during our stay and always found them helpful, polite, and often pro-active as we approached.
Our room allowed us a great night's sleep during our stay, the bathroom had several towels/wash cloths, toilet paper, and toiletries so we did not need to request any of these items during our stay.
We did have a very minor issue with our car but when brought to the attention of staff, our concern was immediately addressed to our satisfaction.
We needed a printed invoice at checkout and Leonor? was happy to comply.
The hotel is located within a few minutes drive from numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping.
We had a great stay and are very appreciative for the way the staff took care of us.

Our hotel is on the edge of the city and the closest restaurant is "Stella" that is .5 miles away. Within a mile or two, there is an Olive Garden, Tropical Grill, Greenfields, Firebirds, Yardhouse, and many other options. The Hotel has "Craft 670" that is open daily for dinner. Lyft and Uber are all around and you can also check and see we have an airport shuttle on duty that could also assist you. We look forward to serving you.
Travel time is around 15 minutes to Main Street, downtown.
The DMF or Destination Marking Fee is 2.12% of the room charges. This is money collected by the CVB in Greenville. Most markets have a similar charge. It is used to promote and increase tourism in our City. I hope this helps. If you would like more details, you can call me or you may want to reach out to the Greenville CVB.
I have deliveries made to hotels during every assignment I'm on. You should ask the desk clerk what the delivery address is and the protocol for accepting packages. They can tell you exactly how to address it and how it will be handled. Should be no problem at all.
Yes, absolutely right - Uber. They also have a shuttle bus, but I assume it only goes to airport.
