Detailed Reviews
Found this hotel through a travel coupon hotel discount book. We stayed 2 nights, one on our way south and then on our return trip. It was easy to get to from I-85.
Everything was modern and clean. The room wasn't spacious and the "desk" looked like it came from IKEA, but it was nice. No carpet, which is okay. The bathroom was stocked with tubes attached to the wall with shampoo and conditioner.
The bed was comfortable with big pillows (4) and the TV was big and high-definition. That was a nice surprise. We just watched the end of a Superman movie, and you could definitely tell the difference.
The best thing was the hot breakfast. Bagels, bread, Danish, eggs, grits, sausage, juice, milk, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes *although it was out of mix on the way (they filled it eventually) and it was not working on the way back. They also have a pool table in the seating/dining area. Lots of seating.
Coffee and tea is available 24/7 and they have an assortment of snacks to purchase. No fridge or microwave in the room.
The curtains were thick and "rolled down" using a chain. They let no light in, so that was good.
They have an indoor pool as well. No overhang to drive under and unload. It is sort of an odd entrance from what we are used to. All rooms are accessible from inside, no outdoor entries to rooms.
It was a new experience for us, comfortable, but "cold" in a modern sense. Not homey, but okay at the same time. Staff was nice, but not warm & friendly.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is new, clean and bright and colorful. They had a great pancake machine the kids loved. The pool was small but it’s indoors and the kids had a blast. The staff was very pleasant and eager to help. Rooms are small but we were only staying one night and they are very well laid out. The pool table and bright colors and fun furniture was a nice change. We would definitely stay again. The staff were invited to breakfast at the end of the meal time and they seemed quite happy about that. I thought it was a lovely incentive.

My first time staying at a Tru brand hotel. Rooms were very small. Thin walls with little insulation to keep you from hearing all the activity in the adjoining rooms. Very minimalist. We had kids and animals in nearby rooms and could hear everything all night. The two queen beds were crammed in there. Breakfast was great and well kept. Staff at the hotel was helpful when we asked for it. I would only recommend for a one or two night stay. Find a suite at another hotel if you're planning on being there longer.

A Hilton property we have not stayed at before, Tru is a good choice. The room was comfortable (except for the platform frame for the bed I kept bumping into), mattress was good and plenty of pillows. We want to thank Sara for accommodating us in getting us into a room early, searching for a left-behind item (which we had all along). She went above and beyond. We also interacted with Paul and Javarius and both were professional and helpful. Pancake maker was down, so we went somewhere else for breakfast. Otherwise, good value for our money.

Stayed at this property for a one night stay and it definitely exceeded my expectations, brand new property with lots of restaurants and shops around the area. Breakfast was great only one minor issue, housekeeping knocked on my door before 9am and I could hear them in the hallways. Overall stay was 5 stars.

If I could rate it a 10 star I would. We were here for a baseball tournament. Jervaris was our host for our stay,he is such an amazing person. He made sure our WHOLE team was taken care of. Jervaris is a person that all hotels need to train for hospitality. Try by Hilton you have found a gem in Jervaris. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. We will definitely be back.

Check in was an awesome experience. Jervaris is a breath of fresh air! He greeted us with such kindness, I felt like I was seeing an old friend!! On our second evening, Jervaris was once again welcoming and spoke to my son with wisdom and kindness. I cannot say enough about Jervaris and his exceptional customer service skills.
The breakfast was good, the room and lobby were what we expect from a Tru hotel.

The hotel staff was so wonderful. Very helpful, very friendly but also very professional. The location is very close to shopping and dining and off the interstate. My only issue was that the rooms were small. Definitely for the business traveler with no closet, and only a bed and desk with a chair to sit. Overall my experience was very good.

I checked out a day early since our business was complete. I paid with a company car and got a printed receipt for multiple rooms. They charged for the complete stay. I have called 9 times and a manager will NOT call me back. Very unprofessional!

Just spent the night here on a business trip to Greenville. Hotel was very clean, comfortable beds and great breakfast options. Location is good to drive about anywhere in Gville, plenty of free hotel parking. I would definitely stay if in the area again.
