I didn’t get the room I paid for. I paid for a full kitchen room. NON SMOKING. Upon entering our room, we noticed an ashtray. We were given a smoking room. It reaked of smoke which triggered my asthma. The room was completely all to pieces. The battery on the door lock was taped to the door, the walls were peeling paint and stained, the floors were sticky and had drink poured on them. There was bugs. And bug traps in the corners. Holes in the wall, cigarette burns on the sheets, we got 3 totally flat pillows, there were no trash bags in the single can by the front door, no trash can at all in the bathroom, the cold water was turned off so I almost burned my hands washing them. We asked for the room to be cleaned and they refused. They said “We don’t really do that here. The housekeepers don’t like going in peoples room because they’ve been accused of stealing before”. We asked for cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves and we were given one rag and a bottle of bleach. 90% of the folks at this hotel live here and we’re beating and banging the walls all night our first night. Had I paid for such a cheap stay I wouldn’t be as mad but the pictures showed a NICE room. And it was supposed to have a kitchen. It didn’t. This was the nastiest stay. The bed was hard as rock too. It was miserable.

I wish I could give this a 0 star. Terrible customer service. Would not honor my Expedia deal and REFUSED to accept payment. I ended up paying twice as much for my reservation and the moment I walked into my room, there were roaches swarming everywhere. They refused to give me a refund until I threatened to call the health department, which I did anyway. I will NEVER go here. EVER.

I know they were renovating, but there were certain things that you shouldn't allow a customer to see. Leaking in the hotel room bathroom. We went to the vending machine area and all the vending items have been taken out. Having to be moved from one hotel room to another because they didn't have a TV. And Especially let us know about the deposit for the room beforehand whether it's booking, expedia,hotels.com or anybody else. Let them know before hand.

The AC-Heating unit in my room was cleaned and now has the freshest air I've ever seen in a motel. Most places have units that smell musty and will make you sick, but not at the Motel 6! The toxins from molds can make one's joints ache and their sinuses hurt, but after a few days I feel good all over. I'm so glad that Motel 6 pays attention to what most motels think are "little things," but are very important: environmental health through clean air. A vacation in a "sick" building can never be good for anyone! Thank-you Motel 6!

I was supposed to check in today 1/21 and when i tried to go into the lobby the door was locked. Ok fine. Saw there was an overnight window and a door bell. Rang the doorbell multiple times. Stood at the window for 25 minutes. The front desk person was no where to be found. Within that 25 mins i was asked by 4 different people to get them a room. After 25 mins i went back to my car and booked a room elsewhere. When i got to my new hotel i tried calling to cancel my reservation and no one answered the phone ( go figure )

There were no comforters on beds only and when we went to officw, only sheets were available. There was a roach was on the wall I had to kill. The room stinked of cigarette smoke as well. This was a $30 room we paid over $80 for. Disgusting excuse !

I have been staying at the motel 6 on Wade Hampton for a few months . I go to the office about every 7 day's to extend my stay. I have not seen the office that clean in a few months. It smelled very clean when I went inside, and the stank bugs were gone. The outside of the office was clean. I updated my stay on October 7, 2020. So whoever motel 6 has working at the front desk now is making things look Lot better. She made my mood go from down to happy go lucky. Allowing her to be the face of motel 6 will bring in alot more revenue. She was kind and very helpful. She even went out her way to unlock my room door because my key was not working. I was considering moving motels, but I am going to stay now.

This was the worst stay ever..Opened door to room there was a roach on door..Left out room key wouldn't work any more..Had to get someone to let me in every time I left room.. People outside standing around drinking and smoking and loud..Kids in lot playing basketball..There's a basketball goal in lot..Kids hitting people cars with balls..Left room went and came back key didn't work again..Went to Window to let attendant know..She saw my boyfriend and asked for his ID..Why? A white lady was in front of me looking for someone asked her to look up their room..She didn't ask for her ID or anything.. Clearly she was looking for drugs..U can't give out people room info like that..Then they have the nerve to charge a 50 deposit for this dump..Lot raggy outside .You can tear up your car out there..I Feel very unsafe here..Came back to room and TV wouldn't work at first..It went out .I need my money back for this stay..The worst ever..I will never stay here again..

Be careful of Motel6 when they think they can, they will price gouge. They wanted $326 for one night lol. I went outside booked the room 3rd party online for $107 still overpriced. Later found a place down the road not listed online was for $80.

The motel has free parking. My check in took a little longer than I expected. The rooms have outside entries. My room was well laid out but it was poorly lit and there was no soap. I did get a good nights sleep but not my requested wake up call. My check out went without any problems. COVID-19: The employees were not masked.
