Love this bed and breakfast! Johannes is an incredible host. We loved hearing about his history as well as the history of this lovely home. My daughter and I were on a road trip to check out colleges and after a looooong day on the road, what a restful haven we found at Kilburnie!! Our third floor walk up suite...

Last night I had the awesome pleasure of spending the night at Kilburnie, the Inn at Craig Farm. I wish I was still there sitting on the upstairs porch rocking contentedly as I did last evening. Johannes is a most fantastic host, who will go out of his way to make you completely happy and comfortable. He has done a...

Johannes is a marvelously welcoming and thoughtful host. He was able to accommodate my dietary needs without any complaint (I am vegan). The house is full of amazing antique finds; everything has a story behind it, and Johannes will gladly tell you the history behind it all. It's very tastefully decorated, not in the overly stuffy style of many B&Bs....

Our daughter picked this extraordinary Inn for our Christmas visit with our son who lives in Charlotte, NC. She and my son-in-law stayed in the beautifully appointed Davie room on the Inn's second floor while my wife and I took the spacious third floor James walk up suite. What a great find! For four wonderful days we lived a dream....

My wife and I stayed overnight just for a getaway weekend. Although it was a short excursion, we felt pampered the entire time. The inn is very clean and beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. Johannes was a tremendous host and even though we live only 30 minutes away we will definitely be back to this relaxing and beautiful...

This B&B is the most luxurious place where we stayed during our weeklong trip down the East Coast. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt very welcomed by the innkeeper who gave us a tour and brief history of the place and showed us to our room. Visually, the inn is stylish and classy in a...

Thank you for taking the time to write your enthusiastic review of Kilburnie. Your impressions and appreciation mean a lot to me. I am glad that you made me realize that simply eliminating ingredients a guest is allergic to is not the way to go. I should have thought of that myself. I'll be sure that will not happen again...
