If I could give it a 0 I would... Does not look like the pictures at all DIRTY.. "house keeping" didn't clean our room the whole time we was there (6days) the office closes and no one there to help after he closes it. Found two cockroaches in the room on our last day there... Spend your money on a different

ROACHES! Totally DISGUSTING! Upon entering room 204 on 7/20/21 we noticed the floor was dirty and sandy, dried food in corner under table. It hadn’t been swept much less mopped. The bathroom sink was dirty and toilet either severely stained or filthy. We saw several roaches on a daily basis. After checking nearby hotels and no vacancies…we went and purchased bug spray, Clorox wipes, pillows, sheets, pillowcases and washcloths to use. We put the sheets over theirs, wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and never went bare foot, not even in the shower. When I told the man in the office, I’m assuming the owner, about the bugs…his only reply was “can’t help that people bring bugs with them”! He did ask me my room number when I told him the room had hardly been cleaned. But he offered no discount or apology. The bath towels and washcloths were stained and looked worse than my husband car towels so we used the wash cloths that we bought and our beach towels. The pool area was dirty and littered with cigarette butts and trash and the pool water cloudy. When I pointed this out, I was told the rain made it cloudy and the pool guy was off that day. Even the path to the beach was nasty. Litter, cigarette butts and nasty water running across the parking lot. I slept with one eye open and with the lights on for 3 nights … had it not been for disappointing my granddaughters we would have just come home. To top it off, someone stole 2 of our beach towels off the railing our last night. Made memoirs for sure. Ones we will never forget. This place should be condemned. Instead of extra cleaning for Covid….our room had little to none. $510 for 3 week nights is way too much to pay for this dump!

Extra late check in due to "no staff!" Staff at check in is very rude! If you have questions they refuse to answer. Your told to read the sheet in the room! Well the sheet in the room says to not smoke weed or do crack in your room but to take it to the beach!! What?? Bugs constantly on the floor, furniture is dirty, bathroom is disgusting, stains all over bedding. Entry door you basically have to body slam it to get it to open and bathroom door won't shut. Been here a few days and the pool hasn't been cleaned once. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. I'm not a hard person to please but this place is gross! Doesn't even deserve a "1" rating.

So. Many. BUGS! The owners tried to give us only 1 nights free, but after the wonderful maintenance man came back, he said the owner would give us a full refund. We tried to look for a new roon, but with it being Memorial Day weekend nothing was available. We dealt with it, very unhappily, but will NEVER return. The owner never talked to us personally. The maintenance man even admitted that bugs were an issue!! WHAT! I believe the positive reviews are friends of the owners. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!

Pet friendly, easy access to beach, clean, two floor motel. I had an ocean front efficiency room. I recommend getting a room on the second floor. Pet fee is very reasonable--$10 per per. The blanket/bed cover was thin. Bed very comfortable. I chose this place because I didn't want to put the dog in a high-rise hotel and have to use an elevator.

We stayed here about 2 years ago and loved it. It was clean looked nicely renovated and was dog friendly so we could bring our two small dogs. The kids could walk right to the beach and they had fun in the pool. This time our stay wasn’t so pleasant. First off we got the room with the kitchenette and as soon as I walked in the room I turned lights on and roaches scattered across stove top. I don’t live with roaches at home and sure don’t expect to stay with them on vacation. I wanted to stay in car that night but I have kids and would not put them through that. I began looking for another hotel to stay at that night but last minute everything was booked as it’s the weekend. We slept with lights on and the next day we let the front desk know. He was very surprised and said he hadn’t noticed roaches in our room before. He made the comment about he can’t help what people bring with them. We did not bring the roaches with us and we are not responsible for what others bring to the hotel. We wanted a discount of some kind he declined and said he was going to send someone up with spray. We never got any spray. We were going to be loyal customers here as we really enjoyed our last stay but never again. Especially at $112 per night...I would expect not to have to deal with roaches. I’m now afraid of taking roaches home with me.

I must say, I was hesitant to stay here after reading some of the reviews but decided to take a chance. I'm certainly glad I did!! Upon arrival, the motel doesn't look like much - standard older Mom & Pop type establishment. Check in was very simple and the gentleman at the desk was pleasant. We arrived around 1:00 pm, and even tho check in wasn't until 3pm, he allowed us to check in. He even walked to our unit to make sure it had been cleaned and was ready for us!! When was the last time you had THAT kind of customer service?!? Unit was one with an ocean view, although the lower level really just has a view of the sand dunes (I'm sure upper level has a better view). Walk out the sliding glass door, walk 100 ft or so and there's the ocean! Great location! Unit is old, yes; but was relatively clean, a/c worked great, and the beds were comfy. For the price, it is a great place to stay. They are pet friendly (charge $10 per day). Full size fridge and kitchenette are nice (has some dishes but no pots and pans). We felt very safe in the area. While we did not use the pool, it did look clean and inviting. What it boils down to is this-----if you're looking for luxury and lots of amenities, go somewhere else. If you just want a nice, clean, comfortable place to lay your head after a glorious day of sunbathing on the beach, this is your place. I like knowing that I'm helping a small family-run business stay afloat in a sea of high-rise corporate hotels!!

The rooms are NASTY! The people that work there are obviously involved in Illegal Activities with Thug Drug Dealers, or at lest it looks that way!...NASTY NASTY NASTY PLACE TO STAY! The people that hang around look like those on welfare and Government FREE HOUSING, which is common these days!

Do NOT STAY HERE. The worst place ever. Yes it’s right on the beach but it was FILTHY! Everything was nasty. No refunds so we went out and bought new bed spreads to put over the beds and a ton of cleaning supplies. They say it was remodeled but everything was rusty & stained. Sliding back door did not lock, they said they left a stick in the room for us to use to lock it. WHY IS THIS PLACE ALOUD TO BE OPEN?! PLEASE SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!
