I've stayed at Sea Crest twice and I love how the rooms have little kitchens to make the stay more enjoyable, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I love the view of the beach from the balcony. I stayed longer the first time and was very satisfied so I do recommend this place to stay rather if it's long or short.
The room was clean and the view was great. The lady's at the front desk was very nice and helpful. And also the lady in the gift shop was helpful and kind. All inall I will be back to stay. And good price.
In heart of strip, in-door pools and outside pools! Don’t use booking.com, they only offer partial ocean view! Room has two queen beds and a pull-out bed from the wall, plus a couch. There two tv’s, plus stove and frig !
We visited between Christmas and New Years! Tatianna at the front desk was very accommodating! The rooms were clean and most everything we did was in walking distance, otherwise we were able to Uber easily to other spots. Brookdale gardens was breathtaking! Looking forward to making this a yearly visit! ❤️🏖🎄
Sea Crest always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and relaxed. Housekeeping staff always makes sure guests are taken care of. And maintenance goes above and beyond to correct any issues.
It was fantastic myself and family enjoyed ourself at the beach and inside at the pool and lazy river. Our room was very clean and bathroom and kitchen area also was clean. They let you use their Wi-Fi also if you need to do some work or whatever. Come to Sea Crest you won’t be disappointed
I have not been to Myrtle Beach SC in many years. Most of those trips were Golf related - before that avenue of Pleasure was no longer available to me. ( Neuropathy) It is an older Hotel / Resort but apparently updated not too long ago. When I look for a beachside hotel I have several criteria. It has to have ocean views ( I love to sleep with the sliding glass door open and the sounds of the ocean) It has to have an outdoor & indoor pool. ( I work out in the water because of balance issues) It has to be near where everything is. (i.e. Good Restaurants, entertainment, etc…) and most of all - it’s got to be a good deal financially! The Culinary Explorer is a Cheapo and always looks for value. This place checks off all my boxes! The staff - from housekeeping to the front desk - are very welcoming and eager to please. In fact - even among Beavers the staff at SeaCrest would be considered very Eager! Other positives include plenty of FREE parking. In the course of my short travels I ran across an unbelievable Karaoke Dive Bar just 3 blocks away from the Sea Crest. Pop’s place has Karaoke 7 nights a week till 1am. Just like the Sea Crest - the music spans all genre’s. Country, Rock, Hip Hop, and the oldies. Back to Sea Crest - it’s also a family friendly place with several Kiddy Pools and a Lazy River. I highly recommend Sea Crest - unless you don’t want great great value and all the amenities.…
I loved my huge room and the use of the indoor pools, bar, and jacuzzi. I liked that many things to do were within walking distance. I staff in the Cafe and the Mini-Mart were so friendly and professional. I will definitely be back!
Very welcoming staff. Especially the young man at front desk. Courteous housekeeping. Clean and updated rooms. Also noticed more renovations being done! On site mini-mart and morning cafe offering Starbucks. Indoor and outdoor *CLEAN* swimming facilities. Really great rate for the amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will be booking with Sea Crest again for our summer trip.
We love this place. A very sweet young lady, Tara, checked us in. She was very knowledgeable of everything. When I booked the stay, I wasn't thinking I guess and got a room with a whirlpool tub. It was really high to get in and the commode was too low, but that was my fault not theirs. Very clean room and housekeeping left clean towels and wash clothes every day. We can't wait to visit again!
