My husband and I came here for our honeymoon about a week ago, and I can say that despite the awful reviews I read, we were very pleased with our stay at the Sandcastle.
The staff were very helpful in getting us an oceanfront room...More

We were required to pay a $200 "security deposit" per person, in cash. They refused to refund it to us when we checked out saying they had to see if we had broken the rules and then we were handed a poorly drafted letter (please see my picture of this letter attached to my review). They said they'd mail it to us later. That was a month ago and we have not received anything from them.

The kitchen is very small. The stove is a 24" long stove, the refrigerator is maybe a 10 cu ft refrigerator top mount freezer combo. Also in the suites the kitchen devices the living area from the bedroom. Also there is hardly any counter space. Also to add this place is guilty of one of my biggest pet peeves, there was no strainer in the kitchen (so annoying).
