Great breakfast and Brenda was awesome soon we came in for breakfast … The receptions were very helpful when checking in. I wanted to stay a extra night and the receptionist was nice for making it happen
Hager has good customer service she was really helpful and nice I would recommend her to anyone and return and hope she is the one working she was friendly and answer any questions and made sure everything was good
This hotel is like vacationing with family and they are all in a good mood. It started when we checked in. The receptionist was wonderful and had me smiling and laughing before I realized. The check in was very quick and easy. She pointed everything out to us from parking to where breakfast was. Our room was very clean. Parking is very convenient and seems there is lots of it. We were there in January though. The parking area and grounds were spotless. Each morning I saw staff out picking up trash. Again everyone was friendly and waved. Breakfast, what can I say except awesome. I felt like family every morning. The food was great and somewhat different each morning. The entire staff was so friendly. I actually said to them one morning if I ever go back to work again I hope it's with all of them. We will be back and I can hardly wait.…
Front desk is very accommodative of guest requests and hotel location is really good with amenities. Andrea at front desk was really helpful during our entire stay there. Only drawback was the breakfast buffet is average.
The rooms weren't very clean in the North Bldg, lots of dust, the beds are old and uncomfortable, cleaning staff was very loud in the early am when we were trying to sleep and knocked on door to see if we were checking out, night staff rude, and the free breakfast was awful. The positives are location and plenty of free parking.
Good visit only few issues was not informed lazy river and hot tubs were not working .room had a good view 2 dead roaches in room stove top dirty greasy when checked in friendly check in outside parking across street
The room was good for the price. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Didn’t have any separate towels/wash cloth for the dishes and there were tiny ants in the sinks. Housekeeping was pretty much nonexistent. Knocked on door at 830 in the morning and gave us new towels. Never made beds or actually cleaned the room. On day of departure, knocked on door and was asked what time we were leaving. Just not very friendly. Suggest they come around 11am when people usually aren’t in their rooms or sleeping. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast included eggs, bacon/sausage, grits, waffles, yogurt, fruit. Very nice to have but have to walk across the street to get to it which was fine for us. Very limited parking under the buildings, so again have to park across the street and walk. Elevators worked great and pools were nice and clean. Indoor pool was closed due to construction which was kind of a bummer. Staff super friendly at breakfast and front desk.…
Good place to spend a few relaxing days. Rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Such friendly staff so early in the morning. Ms. Lillie has such a great attitude about her job, it was a pleasure to be there. Look forward to visiting with them again next December.
We enjoyed our stay at the Dayton House resort very much. But the Rose Room and staff were just exceptional. Great food and service and friendly folks. Just wonderful. This was not our first and won't be our last!
Love visiting the area and being on the water. This is my first time at the Dayton House Resort and they made me feel right at home. Went over to the Rose Room for breakfast and Mrs. Hager was amazing from the beginning to the end. Thank you all for making our stay a Fantastic experience we will be back. Let's Go #HERDS
