My birthday weekend was horrible due to the mattress and room temperature I will not ever stay there again I have stayed several locations in Myrtle Beach and this was one of the worst times It was planned to be a vacation for me and my wife the room was hot and the bed made our bodies ,backs hurt and shift legs
This is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious and in excellent condition. The location is outstanding to enjoy nearby restaurants and walk daily. The staff is very friendly and attentive to guests. We highly recommend this propert for people of all ages.
Pros: close to the beach, easy check-in/check-out, texting feature to request supplies, activities, and pool. Cons: lots of cockroaches and palmetto bugs (both) in the unit and common areas, parking is a bit of a walk and makes unloading groceries and such difficult, and there are a lot of homeless in the area. I would stay again.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite. I thought it was really comfortable and clean. We were on the 22nd floor and there were 2 porches and a really nice kitchen and eating area. It was spacious. Nothing fancy but great for a family looking to relax. We loved it.
We exchanged into a 3 bedroom for the week I was surprised that they still charge for parking during the offseason when the garage was not even close to full capacity. They also charge for a resort fee with very little going on. The bar is only opened Thursday-Sunday and they have a very small activity planned once a day. I don't feel the charged is warranted during the offseason. The pool was nice albeit a little chillier than expected for an indoor pool. The hot tub is a very nice size. My wife and I did enjoy walks on the beach and sunrises in the morning from our oceanfront 3 bedroom. They also give you two complimentary bottles of water each day of your stay. The 3 bedroom is a beautiful room. However, if you were going to stay in a 3 Bedroom with multiple families I would recommend paper products. They only supple a small amount of dishes, cups, etc. Even as a couple we felt we could have run the dishwasher at least 3 times. There is a balcony that overlooks the ocean from the living room and a small balcony off the third bedroom with two beds, That could be bad especially if you wanted to put the children in there. The second bedroom is a queen bed and master is a king. There are two bathrooms and the water pressure is not good at all. took at least a few days to find exact spot to enjoy a shower. My wife complained that it took more time to wash her hair due to lack of pressure. The TV's are very nice and you can stream from your phone apps that are not available on the smart TV like HBO Max or paramount, etc. when you connect to your phone to the TV. I'm not sure how the wifi would be during peak season but it worked ok in January. In summary. I would definitely come back again, but I could see it being very crowded during prime summer season with very small pool area and only 4 elevators and 24 floors.…
Our group of six adults really enjoyed our mid-winter vacation at Myrtle Beach!! And Ocean 22 made our vacation simply incredible! It’s location is perfect and this high rise facility provides incredible ocean front views! We also really enjoyed the indoor pool and huge hot tub! And the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable!
Beautiful hotel nice rooms which the pool stayed open later closed at 8:00 because of the season. The parking is across the street was not great! It is not closed and it cost and extra $20 a day. The staff was nice. The room was very clean!! Definitely worth the money. Nice pool, nice inside and out!
My recent stay at Hilton Ocean 22 was awesome! Ideal location with shopping & restaurants nearby. The staff were wonderful & hospitality was excellent. The unit was very spacious (3 bedrooms), balcony with ocean view was great. Our group really enjoyed their stay & looking forward to a return trip soon!
Great resort with Hilton quality service. My room request accepted in regard to high floor and corner location #1607. Market Store in lobby 2nd floor had plenty of swell items, including hot food. Valet parking offered a big city experience. In door heated pool and a very large hot tub to the side on 1st floor. Easy access to the beach a few steps from the elevators. Good location in middle Myrtle Beach.
We had a one bedroom suite on the 15th Floor. “Partial view” was very partial with barely a glimpse of the water. Constant noise even on the 15th floor. The unit itself was very nice if oddly set up with the master bedroom facing the interior hallway bringing with it all the noise you would expect. Easy beach access and nice pool area but “nice” was about all it was as it was inside with no views. Other people complained about the elevators but we didn’t have any problems while we were there, but then again it was off season. Parking is across the street by two blocks unless you use the valet service and with that you have a wait. Areas of the hotel/resort strip are becoming run down so you need to take that into consideration as well. Lots of closed businesses and businesses with limited days/hours. Homeless population a problem while we were there. Lots of law enforcement out and about but it didn’t deter them.…
