Second year staying at Grande Shores for our March golf trip. Clean accommodations, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are certainly fine for the $ your paying. Location is convenient to many Myrtle and North Myrtle locations.

Grande Shores is at the northern end of Ocean Drive in a quiet neighborhood. You would need to drive into the downtown area of Myrtle to even access the boardwalk area - that holds true from most all hotels in the MB area. Yes there are restaurants you can walk within a block or two - as far as bars, Grande Shores has their own and it's very good. They post happy hour specials etc. To locate other bars you really need to research the MB area - hope this helps -- Grande Shores is a fantastic place to stay.
