Room was dirty, showerhead needed replacement, a/c smelled like mildew when operated. 2 of the 3 pieces of fitness equipment were broken. Carpets throughout were all stained and needed a deep cleaning or replacement.
Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, best place to stay for vacation or for business. Breakfast and bar and COMFORTABLE lounge to add to the ambiance. Very nice stay for a day, or for a week, and great prices!!
The long and short of it is, this is no where near "Hyatt" quality and they should take their "Flag" off this property. Dirty, understaffed. I gave it a 2nd chance and it failed! Wow, they need 200 words. So don't stay here is what I'm saying.
Overall, was very happy with the facilities. The rooms were clean and well-kept, the beds were comfortable, and there was ample space for all of us to move around in, watch TV, grab a snack, read a book, etc. The complimentary breakfast was ample and well-stocked, with multiple hot and cold options - which has been rare during this pandemic. Plenty of parking (free), convenient access to the interstate, and a reasonable number of restaurant options in the area. However, we experienced some pretty big challenges with our check-in. It was a spring break week, and the hotel was fully booked. We arrived on a Thursday - after the published check-in time of 3:00 - and was told our rooms (2) were not yet available (though the family that checked in immediately before us was able to get their room). We were in town for a Friday wedding, and there was a post-regearsal gathering Thursday evening we needed to get changed for. I waited in the lobby while they tried to get an update from Housekeeping on when the rooms would be available. After 10-15 minutes they said they still weren't sure how long it would be. We waited in the lobby another 30 minutes or so and they said they still couldn't give us an estimated time for when the rooms would be ready, but would call me when they did know. (No offer to store our luggage while we were waiting.) We left (with our loggage in tow) to grab an early dinner and returned a little over an hour later, and the rooms were still not available. After another 5 minutes or so, they were able to open up one room for us to get changed (nearly 3 hours after our initial arrival). By the time we were dressed, the second room became available. We were probably more frustrated by their inability to give us an estimated time than the actual delay in getting checked in. Once we got past the check-in issues, we were happy with our stay.…
