Hotel is in bad need of a renovating. Fixtures in my room were very worn. A liquid of some sort had been spilled on the wall in several places and allowed to dry, and it appeared no one has ever tried to clean it off. "Grab & Go breakfast" is a Farce! Need to start serving something that at least resembles real food right away!!
Overall the property was nice, clean and the room was comfortable, however the customer service at this property is questionable. The Front Desk Agent was not pleasant, no smile, did not make you feel welcome, guest name was not used and was not helpful with my situation. Manager never came out to the Front Desk back from her office to provide any assistance. No assistance nor apology was given by the Manager. Was completely ignored by the Manager. The two desk tops at the business Center were not working and no other option was given to me. On check-out day room key was not working at 8:00 am. When asking to get key re-activate, Front Desk Agent blamed it to another agent when actual herself check me in. It seemed to be a hassle to re-activate the key, at the end I still received the keys. Service was poor not at Marriott standards. Very disappointing.…
Tiffany at the front desk was amazing and delivered exceptional service upon our check in on 10/10/2020! She was the ultimate professional of Hospitality industry! She advised that our original room had a maintenance issue in it and swiftly found us another room on the second floor. She advised us it may be a little wait though, so we just had her call us when it was ready to be checked in. Tiffany truly went the extra mile to make sure our family had a connecting suite and made us feel like royalty She should not go unnoticed by his management team. Overnight shift we also do not want Ron to go unnoticed by management as he took care of us in a previous stay and again went the extra mile to make sure we had another great experience again this time. He remembered that we liked to be stocked up on extra coffee for our room, added some tea for my wife and also remembered the extra towels we liked. Great job Ron! Tiffany and Ron both provided us with an excellence in service at the front desk! GM Andrea Nicholson truly wanted to make sure we had a memorable experience because it was my wife's birthday and she even had us upgraded in to a suite as there was rooms available to make it a special weekend for us! We definitely would stay here again and most certainly would recommend to anyone a stay at her hotel!…
Needed wheel chair after my husbands surgery, hotel had one on site .They even put us in one of their suites on the first floor so we could just wheel him to the room.Very nice accommodations and very clean, Marriott always have comfy beds .The hotel was very quite compared to other hotels in Charleston(,this was his 5th surgery)Highly recommend!
