Stayed here because of a recent pleasant experience in a Rodeway. Not all Rodeway Inns are equal, apparently. I don't mind an inexpensive hotel being dated but there is no excuse for being dirty. Wanted to exchange the blood-stained bedspread for a clean one. Finally was given a key to another room to fetch it myself. Only saw in the morning that the smoke alarm was missing. Only wires hanging. I'll spend a few more bucks next time and stay elsewhere.

Do not, under any circumstances, stay at this hotel. The manager on duty the evening of Saturday, June 10, was easily the rudest person I have ever encountered at a hotel. He refused to give his name, refused to give me directions from the highway, then refused to give me the website so I could register my opinions. And...the place is a dump. Choice 800-number (answered by someone in India) said the hotel is right on Rt 26 and gave an incorrect exit number of 154b. Exit was actually 145 and hotel is seven miles away. Awful!!!

Thought we'd booked at the neighboring EconoLodge through Orbitz. Not. Apparently Orbitz had not communicated any reservations to EconoLodge. So there have been a lot of unhappy Orbitz customers. The EconoLodge and the Rodeway are owned by the same family and fortunately there was a cancellation at the Rodeway. Otherwise I'd have been very unhappy.
The room is okay. Very basic. The A/C was not on when we arrived so it was hot in the room. An hour later it is still pretty warm. Maybe by morning it'll be okay. Bathroom and tub clean. Rug needs a good vacuuming especially by the low wall that visually divides the room.
