Most disgusting, filthy hotel I have every seen... Are you ready, here we go. Checked in and I was handed a plastic bag with 2 towels, 2 wash cloths and a role of toilet paper. Got to the room and the light switch upon entering room did mot work because floor lamp was broken in half. Sheets had spots from what I was afraid to ask. Night saftey chain on door missing. Telephone was is top drawer of night stand not wired. Back of night stand was laying on the floor.. toilet roll holder was broke , dirty, and moldy.. tub and sink no stopper. In the morning I discovered the smoke alarm was missimg....The only reason I stayed too late to look for another motel. I asked if I could get another towel and I was told the owner would not allow it. Needless to say I received a full refund in the a.m.. This hotel was so dirty I could mot even shower.. ..

The room was very nasty and dirty. The bathroom had no towels and wash rags in it. In the bathroom was very dirty and had roaches and tiles broken from wall. The toilet seat was broken,. The sink had hair in it and was nasty. Could not put clothes in dresser for the roach eggs and dead roaches. There was no hot water and not water pressure to take a shower . Had to clean the room before i could stay in the room.. they would not give me my money back nor give another room. I also rented the Tiffany room for a party and it was not clean and it also had roaches. The tables was very nasty and so was the chairs. I had to clean the tables and chairs in this room. I would not use this motel.

We went there for one night because we couldn’t make it to our actual destination, Congaree. The room was super dirty. There were holes in the blankets and carpets, there was either ash or insect poop on the blankets. The blow dryer was disgustingly dirty, there was a fat dead bug in the corner. The entire place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. We went and checked the room for bedbugs, and I‘m still sure there were many spots we just couldn’t check everywhere. I was itching all over the next morning, despite bug repellent. There was mold in the bathroom, the parking lot was filled with shady people all night. It advertised breakfast, but in the morning the lobby was closed and we had to use the night checkout, no breakfast whatsoever was prepared.

I was traveling with my 4 children and parents. After several hours of driving we stopped for the night. Our first impression was poor, but for one night we could put up with the bad conditions. We got into rooms and used the restroom. Went to wash hands and the sink didn't work. Called down to the front desk and was told to come down for a new room. Got a new room key. Went upstairs to new room put key on door and opened it to people laying in the beds watching TV!!!!🤪 Went to parents room, called again and the employee walked up with the keys and checked two more rooms. My son and I checked to make sure sink worked, room was decently clean and bedding was clean and air conditioning worked before settling in for the night. After getting luggage upstairs and kids in bed from that ordeal I went to lock us in for the night and discovered the lock didn't work!! (I propped the door closed with the ironing board and pushed furniture up against the door and slept with one eye open. ) Will not stay here again and suggest you keep on driving.

Unbelievable dump. Was late at night and only place I could find. I am 75 years and this is the worst dump I have ever stayed in. The only good thing I can say is that the toilets did flush! The place was so awful we were afraid to eat breakfast there.

This is the worst room I have stayed in and we travel from Florida to Virginia frequently and always stay on the way. If it wasn’t such bad weather, I would have left immediately. Dirty toilet, doors, and stained chair/sofa/ and bedding. Had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies before using the bathroom. Other guests are echoing the same findings including broken heat, roaches, and dirty rooms. Please be advised...

The room was clean and had NO smell. The breakfast fine. Check-in was fast and the reservation was correct. There are several restaurants near the motel. There is also a pet charge ($!)) for each animal. WiFi & TV reception was fine.

Moldy room, dog fleeces on back of tv laminated guide, old broken down furniture, holes in bedding, stains on mattress, a dust pan of debris inside air vent blowing around the room, sticky microwave, floor not cleaned in weeks, pubic hair all over restroom floor, smoke detector missing, hole in bathroom door, cockroaches, see the light large gap around three sides of room door, refrigerator ticked all night long, an 80 year old couple was the cleaning people with a small plastic bag, paint splattered all over walls from sloppy repairs, sink was painted. No money has been spent on cleaning or repairs in years. Unbelievable how they are still in business.

We were turned away even though we had a confirmation # from Hotels.com. It apprears Econolodge overbooked at higher rate, leaving people who made reservations at lower rate out on the streets. They left two woman, who drove from Massachusetts with no place to go.

We were there for the eclipse. Our online Hotel.com reservation was not in their computers but they still found a room for us. The bed was comfortable and all was well. The hotel is within east walking distance to the Edisto Rose Garden so my husband enjoyed a morning walk. I believe that there is a real effort to improve.
