For a classic lodge stop type hotel/motel, this is fine. The price is right, the room is clean, it's far enough off I-26 and the main road (601) where you don't hear the cars. They offer a basic breakfast, so ask if it's included when you book. The A/C wall unit is kind of loud. It's cool and works, but be prepared for some noise there. Showers, bathroom, general condition of the room is really good for a generally lower end hotel.

My wife and I booked this room for our eclipse trip. It seemed like it was the last room left in the state and we were apprehensive about staying in an old motel. How wrong could we be! The room was very clean and comfortable but the staff were amazing. From the moment that Aleesha welcomed us at the front door, to the time we left, both Aleesha, and Lyonna were simply awesome. It really felt like staying with family. It was great to see everyone getting hugs when it was time to leave. Refreshing and delightful! I'd come back again just to visit with these folks.

I have been looking for a place to stay once a week for awhile. stopped in and spoke with Ieesha at the front desk. she showed me a room and gave me a great price. That was 3 months ago. been staying here since. Ieesha and Asteria have been great. always have a big smile. The one time i had a problem Asteria took care of it. The place is quiet, affordable, lots of places to eat near by. the beds are comfortable, I have never seen a bug in the room , of any kind. that means a lot to me. I am all smiles.

What I loved about this place was the warm, friendly staff who comes and opens the door to welcome you. The room was clean for the most part but had an oppressively high humidity that smelled like it was on the verge of mold. The refrigerator was mildewed. I recommend that the hotel buy some dehumidifiers and turn them on when rooms are vacant. They should replace carpet, but they certainly need to frequently wash and clean bedding and drapery until they have the problem under control. They may need to do more to refresh the rooms than all of these.

Motel was not clean. The room still had candy wrappers around the bed and it smelled. If we had not been so tired and so late, we would have driven on down the road. The outside motel room door was loose and not secure. We did not feel safe. The breakfast was fodder and I do mean "fodder". It is the only motel we ever stayed in that had "whole-Kernal Corn" in a crock-pot for breakfast sitting on the serving bar for BREAKFAST. I kid you not!! In my opinion, this place is "just give us the money." Hospitality is not their strong point.

Got off to bad start because evening clerk would not honor our TripAdvisor price because there were 3 of us, and then wouldn't lend us a third chair for room despite charging us for 3 people. Morning clerk was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was average continental choices.

We stayed here while working for the week and couldn't be happier! We've stayed at other hotels around the area for about $30 more per night. Upon arrival Ieesha who works at the front desk greeted us and gave us a great deal on our rooms and was so nice and professional. If only every hotel could have people like her working for them! She made us feel so welcome and made sure we were happy with everything. The rooms are nice and clean and we didn't notice any stains or dirtiness in them. Also I never once saw any bugs in the rooms which is my biggest pet peeve! The nice woman who cleaned our rooms Mary was just the sweetest and made sure we had everything we needed. They also have a nice washer and dryer for $2 each that work really good. They offer a good breakfast as well.

Stopped on the way to Florida. Just needed a bed for the night. Upon entering the room, we were hit with an overpowering smell of potpourri/perfume. We felt something was being covered up. It was difficult to sleep due to the smell and it was too late to try to get another room. Would not stay again.

The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. We stopped after a long day of travel and were so relieved that a new stop was as nice as it was! The service is wonderful! Ieesha and Ayaana are amazing! We will definitely stop here again!! Rating circles are not functioning properly. Please make Excellent ratings for Service, Location and Value. Thank you!

We stayed there in March of this year. I was sorry we didn't check the room first, as it was not up to standards of cleanliness (for example, the glasses were not individually wrapped in plastic) had a very noisy fan in the room and a very strong smell of urine which was a real turn-off. Would avoid this place.
