Saw the signs for Clark's way before we arrived. Lovely old Inn around for many decades and owned by the same family. A wonderful gift shop attached Whimsey. Could have spent a lot of time and money in here, lovely country lunch. Santee known for its golf courses

What a superb place to find on our road trip from North to South on route 95. The Inn had nice rooms at a very modest price - which included a terrific breakfast - and there was a lovely gift shop on site, too. Dinner was down home Southern cooking and we couldn't have been happier. we will definitely stay... More

Stayed at this hotel about 8 years ago, when they allowed pets. Since then , I found it easier to pull over in a rest stop and take a couple hour nap if I had my pets with me . I was meeting somebody in San T happen to be a halfway point for me and my friend . I... More

Danielle was wonderfully welcoming as she explained the king room bargain. Total $ 106.00 for two in a king room with wifi, coffee maker, iron, crystal clear t.v., refrigerator and a luscious bed in a quiet setting. Breakfast, with several choices included in the price! Breakfast the next day was coffee, juice, two eggs, meat, potatoes, toast or biscuit.

when we first arrived the lady at the front desk was nice besides telling us that swimming in a alligator infested lake was "safe" but then we checked in to the room and there was a bug on the bed then we got a new room and then my cousin saw a 2 inch "water bug" in conclusion if you... More

Anyone traveling on Interstate 95 through South Carolina should consider visiting Clark’s Inn and Restaurant. In my case I was traveling from Washington, D.C. to Florida and wanted a break. Being without reservations and seeing the sign along the interstate for Clark’s I thought I’d take a chance. The interstate exit at Santee South Carolina is non-descript, but Clark’s more... More

A little kindness goes a long way. I'm sure if a request was made to help with luggage, it would have been fulfilled. Some people would prefer to gripe over little things. Their excellent staff has always been accommodating and cordial with us.

Terrible! No elevator and no handicap access. Room could not keep room cool with the heat being 102 degrees! Restaurant was fair, but the service was great. Would not stay in this hotel again. Had to lug luggage up two flights of stairs. Television not visible from the bed.

A friend recommended that I stay in Santee on my way from Tampa to NY. And he suggested the Clarks Inn. I can no longer trust my friends opinion. Althought the AAA or AARP rate is $91 plus tax or $101.21, their website indicates a lower rate until you wish to book. Then the rate is higher. The rooms are... More
