Where to begin... stayed here because it was closer to where i had got a job at. The first night was ok but after that the longer i stayed the higher the prices got everyday i paid a different price then was charged a late fee because as the lady put it i was late paying the rent. i was guest not a tenant... The guy at the front desk is so rude i can't believe he still has a job there. i went to get extra towels it was 2 of us in the room he gave me one towel and one wash cloth each he sits out
side smoking waits until he is done to come take care of you i asked about the coffee, he said he makes one pot if it's gone oh well since there is no housekeeping due to covid i asked for cleaning supplies he said i can't use any there locked up and he don't got the key so i had to go buy my own cleaning supplies anything you asked him he seemed like he was bothered he told me he was the boss enforcer and will kick anybody out that gives him back talk he began to tell me how he kicked some dude out and didn't give him his money back when i told the lady her husband was rude she got mad and said she was the boss and that's not her husband they both are rude and seem like they need anger management very unprofessional he never had on shoes all the traffic was on the other side but he sat and acted like nothing was going on when i asked him about weekly rates he told me the other side is worse than the side i was on and he would show me later but when i asked the next day he said somebody was in there so he couldn't show me i can go on and on about this place but since I'm back in NEW YORK STATE i will never ever visit this place or surfside again no Wi-Fi also they were paying one of the ladies who live on the other side 6.50 a room not an hour by room the microwave was dirty inside so was the fridge it says roadway but its road side inn oh and the lady said it's her place but the front desk guy said I'm not allowed on the property a big joke because i called him out on his rudeness

I was a bit afraid after reading reviews & told them so they let me look at our room first.
GOOD: Room did not smell, no bugs, full size fridge, stove top, microwave, clean, very comfortable beds.

NOT SO GOOD: No security lock, chair too short to fit under door, no phone, only sheet and then top bed spread, maids use shopping carts going room to room, stained ( dirty?) carpet, no pots, pans or silverware to use kitchenette, needs many, many easy updates.
OVERALL: This place was cheap so I wasn’t expecting a lot. For the money, it wasn’t bad for two nights. We had a nice stay.

AAA - American Automobile Association is the absolute worst company for anything, especially towing services. They SUCK big time. Extremely high membership prices, slow towing service and the dumbest phone system to date.

To say that the service is extremely bad is a gross understatement. The manager in charge did not care for the welfare of the guests nor did he even try to. He woke us up early in the morning to tell us that we had to pay a cover charge when we had 4 people in the room. Unfortunately, we did not know that we did not have to. After some argument, we paid the fee, as the situation was getting tense, and we did not want any more trouble as we had an itinerary to follow. We only knew that we were extorted after we got to our next destination. This incident left an extremely bitter taste in our mouths.

As for the room, it was small, dirty and dingy, where the carpets were filthy and had a weird sticky feel to it (luckily we had slippers). The wireless did not work in certain parts of the room and we could only access the Internet near the door.

All in, this business does not even deserve to exist. Please do not stay here. You have been warned.

We had NO toilet paper. NO new towels were brought to us during a week stay. When we go to check out and get our $50 deposit they say you can't get it back unless you stay 3 weeks. Photos show how disgusting the room was. Even a child's play toy was found on the floor like they had NEVER cleaned the room in the first place. Dirt and ashes behind every piece of furniture in the room. A deposit is meant for if anything is damaged by us! The man working the hotel screamed and cursed at my husband & got in his face when we were trying to figure out why we couldn't have our deposit back. (This was the night before) Owner doesn't even care about his employee acting that way. At 10:00 at night the same employee knocked on our door for a "security check"?!? (The man was clearly drunk or on drugs trying to intimidate us). I've never in my life experienced such rude disgusting people.

The Person running this Hotel could not find our reservation. Wi-Fi did not work had to go down to the office to get my own toilet paper and manager also advised that when towels were needed I must bring them my dirty towels and they would in turn give me clean ones. Room was not clean chairs were not level beds were old and springs coming through both double beds Bathroom door did not close top lock to latch door was broken. Manager advised to let them know when we left in order to clean room because they did not have signs to indicate the room was empty in order to clean we did as requested and ROOM DID NOT GET CLEANED. Had to pay .25 for ice. Worse Stay Ever I would advise anyone who is booking with this hotel NOT TO pay 10.00 and go somewhere else!

The reception lobby looked like a stock room closet, the room had an unfavourable smell, the towels smelt of overdose of bleach, pillow cases were very old and very thin could see the pillow stripes, room didn't look and smell clean. Tv and remote didn't work upon arrival, staff had to be called to fix tv & remote. Could not reason why Rodeway would allow such a poor product to be offered to the public. Would not recommend this establishment to any one.

The owner was scary and argued with me over the price of the room, basically calling me a liar saying I didn't book the room on Orbitz which I did for $107. The front desk man was missing teeth and smelled bad in a front office that appeared to double as his bedroom-no joke. The owner sd he would give me a "new" room for my troubles. The "new" room was disgusting- the carpet was filthy, the bathroom hairy and I could have installed the toilet, sink and flooring better myself with the mess they made of it... and I have never installed anything. One of the beds was covered in hair and when I complained they handed me sheets to change it myself. The clientele staying with me at the other rooms of the hotel looked liked drug dealers or homeless people. I was afraid to leave the room. The Wifi did not work and when I asked the front desk man he said "Oh yah, I don't know when that's going to work again."

My boss put me up there wile i was working in the area for him. This is the worse place i have ever stayed in my life! I spend usual 30+ weeks a year on the road and by far the worse i have ever stayed! The room was nasty and we NEVER saw housekeeping anywhere! The room was nasty and wore down beyond belief. After my boss contacted Choice Internationals to complain the owner of the hotel and his son came woke me up at 06:00 and pretty much forced me into a empty room locked the door and demanded to know what my problem was! The roach's were at least 2inch long. The sheets were stained. Mold allover the bathroom and sink. Tv broke. "meth" stove in room hadn't bean cleaned in god only knows how long. I would not recommended this hotel to anyone! This place needs to be distorted! I would have bean better off under a bridge!!!!!!!!

Please, do not go there!!!! It's cheap maybe but they will treat you with no respect and will not help you at all!
Me and my friends stayed in his sister motel Astro, which is basically at same place. They tried to lie us about the price a couple of times. They even raised the cost of the room two times (one when it was biker week, because at this time there are a lot of tourists and the hotels are full, so they raise everyone's room....and if you don't agree and pay....you will be thrown out of there like dog...even in the middle of the night). The cards we used to unlock our rooms didn't work at all so there was a time when we weren't able to get inside our room, and we have to wait for hours until someone come and fix the problem - there is a phone left on the door on the reception to call when there is no one there, but no one answered or when they did they say they will be there in a few minutes, but you keep waiting and waiting for a loooong time. And, when our cards broke two times on the third they said that it is our fault (even if we were so careful not to put them near electronic devices) they ask to pay 20$ for each card every other time it's not working properly.
The room was also horrible. I don't think someone ever clean them. There were blood stains on the sheets, also stains from every other kind you can think of on the floor, and boxes of condoms, pills and etc. under the bed. I was literally scared to use the bathroom, it was that awful!
So, please, don't go there! These people are thiefs! They will disrespect you! Laugh at you! You will remember this experience for ever... but not in a good way.
