Have just come back from an amazing break at this wonderful place. The log cabins are lovely and have everything that you could possibly want. They are really cosy and overlook a beautiful fishing lake. I have to say there are some big fish in that lake as well. The owners and staff are the friendliest people you could meet...

Myself and my family stayed here this week and have to say it's just what we needed the cabin was clean, the setting was perfect and kept my husband and children happy. The staff here are very friendly and approachable. Ignore people saying the cabins are dusty etc they are not, they are lovely and cosy. I will be recommending...

When cycling along the Brampton Valley Way my wife suffered an accident and was taken to A&E by ambulance. The Bain family willingly came to our assistance by storing our bicycles safely at the campsite for an extended period. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and concern. Everyone at Waterloo Farm Leisure was so helpful, both at the...

Can't speak for the accommodation but the tea room is lovely. As the other reviews say, it's a lovely quiet spot well away from the main road but close to and handy for the nearby Brampton Valley Way , a linear cycle /walkway which extends into Market Harborough northbound and almost 20 miles south to Northampton. A good choice of...

Waterloo lakes can be reached by road or if walking the old Brampton valley way a disused railway line between Market Harborough and Chapel Brampton. Lying about 40 mins walk from Harborough the lakes offer a tearoom B&B camping and fishing. I like to walk my dog there as there is no traffic other than cyclists. The tearoom offers coffee...

The setting here as previously stated is idyllic, the café food is excellent however the log cabins are very disappointing, tired, basic furnishing which are poor, very unloved, I appreciate that they probably have groups of men but they really should be upgraded it wouldn't take too much effort to make it so much better.

The log cabins are very tired they are dusty and smelly it's a real shame as they could be turned around for very little effort and with some investment rugs not hovered since last Xmas as we found tinsel on the rug. Clearly aimed at groups of men only really interested in the fishing, the price is an indication which...

A lovely site with great fishing at the sude of your van. Good access down a long drive from main A roads. Easy check in at the tea room. The delightful tea room serves a good freshly cooked breakfast - great for the day you leave so you can get all packed up & then eat a hearty breakfast to...

We took a midweek break at Kingfisher Lodge. Comfortable and warm Lodge. Considering the cool conditions my husband enjoyed the fishing and caught quality fish (Carp to 15lb, Crucian Carp and Tench). Lovely peaceful surroundings, well maintained. I enjoyed the walk along the Brampton Way to Market Harborough which has a very pleasant shopping centre with large supermarkets and indoor...
