We held a family reunion at this site last weekend. Our initial difficulty in getting in touch with the group coordinator was solved with their hiring of a full-time group coordinator who went out of her way to be helpful. The facility worked extremely well for the reunion, and the setting was lovely. We used the on-site restaurant to cater...

To start, This place was clean and there were no issues. The beds were clean and water hot. There were balconies where you could sit and enjoy the nice summer weather. Now, for the price, you certainly did not get your money's worth. It was expensive and the wifi was grossly weak given the volume of people in the hotel....

1 star is immediately lost for no wi-fi. There is no cell coverage at the koa so it was very hard to communicate from one family in the lodge to another family down at the rvs short of a 12 min walk. Another star lost because the room was a bit dingy. Gross used band-aid on the floor, old noisy...

We just can't say enough good things about this reasonably priced lodge. It is situated right next to an extremely large KOA campground. Which is kept impeccably clean. The lodge itself is beautiful. Even the carpets in the halls are kushi. The whole place is spotless. Everyone smiles and really make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy yourself....

Very nice lodge and after our experience in one of their cabins (see my other review) we were happy to move to the lodge. They are pet friendly, which was much appreciated. The beds were comfy, AC worked great, the room was very clean. Great wifi, loved the balcony looking out over the lawn. Neighbors were very easy to hear,...

We or should I say the sat nav had some difficulty finding this hotel. It is ideally situated for a Mount Rushmore visit. Our room had an epic view and was clean, neat and well appointed. All staff were polite and very helpful. Would be happy to stay here again.

We just got back from four nights at the Lodge at Palmers Gulch and can't say enough good about it. Spotless rooms, very friendly staff, very fair price and loads to do at the KOA Mt Rushmore. Also very centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Would highly recommend it and would most certainly would go back.

We stayed in Cabin 33 at KOA/Palmer Gulch and it was gorgeous. It being off season, there wasn't much open for the kids to do however, had it been open for the season, we wouldn't have to leave!! The place had about everything a kid could want to do. We are hoping to get back there over the summer for...

As context, we stayed the last weekend of the season and the regular staff was gone. They were reasonably friendly and had hot coffee always available. After that it was downhill; the water was brown in the sink & tub, we came back from dinner one night to find our room door standing wide open, and the continental breakfast was...
