It is a fairly well laid out campground. Front desk staff were helpful and kind. Do not reserve a tipi in advance. We reserved one and they are not waterproof and do not have an enclosed roof. I wish I was told this during the call.

My family spent almost a week at this resort. Half of us stayed in the hotel, half stayed in the RV park. The hotel was small, but quiet. We booked a double queen. Our bathroom door did not latch shut, one of the pictures in our room had cracked glass in it, but other than that it was clean and...

Some great. Some not. The pros...Beautiful grounds. Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice grounds keepers. The cons...Busy and loud road is disturbing when you are tent camping. Noisy partiers. The teepees looked mildewy and smelled funky.

Our campsite was nice and clean for my pop-up and 2 children, but we were not allowed to stay in the site we've used for years with the previous owners, because they 'just don't allow it anymore', No one camped there for the 3 days we were there. (A beautiful spot close to the creek, electric and water ready site)....

Pros: -excellent location to all black hills attractions -friendly front office staff -clean campground -clean showers Cons: - NO enforcement of quiet hours. In the 5 nights we stayed...

My family stayed here over the 4th of Juky weekend. We stayed in Cabins 4, 5, 6 & 7. I thought at first being near the busy road would be annoying, but after bein there and aging fun with my family, the traffic noise was hardly noticeable. The cabins were nice and clean. They each have 2 full over full...

We camped here for 6 nights (June 2016) and loved our campsite. Our family reunion was held there and the campground worked out very nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even have a barn type shelter where we were able to have our potluck. The location was great to get to Mt. Rushmore, Jewel caves and Custer...

We were greeted by a friendly, helpful staff. The campground was very clean and well maintained. Our tent site was all thick grass. They serve an all you can eat pancake breakfast. There is a swimming pool. The showers and restroom facilities were clean.

My son and I tent camped on site during our visit to Mt Rushmore. I cannot say enough how pleased we were. The customer service was excellent. We were actually there before the campground opened for the season, and were treated like royalty and very much appreciated being allowed to stay. The shower building was clean, grounds were clean, playground...
