Hi, We are an Aussie family of 4 with two kids aged 13 and 14. We stayed for 3 nights in September. When we initially arrived I was disappointed that the cabin we were given was right on the main road into Hill City. But many of the places are like that along the road. When I say "right on...

We stayed at this campground 2 nights when we attended the 50th Annual Buffalo Roundup in nearby Custer State Park. The campground was pretty full with RV's, but we just have a little teardrop trailer and they put us in site 80, a grassy spot next to the creek and sort of off by itself, just what we like. Very...

We spent three nights in August in a queen motel room - one bed - and thought it was an excellent value. The room was very clean, no smell of air freshener trying to mask underlying odors - there were none. The room was small, but we expected that. The decor was dated, but who cares? It was a very...

Our weary family of 5 had been traveling from MN to our initial destination at another campground with high hopes of settling in and resting, only to be inconvenienced and lost upon arriving. So we immediate left and starting making phone calls to other campgrounds in the Hill City area-everything was booked until we called Crooked Creek and they were...

Do not let the pictures fool you, We stayed in the hotel and the rooms are very very small. We had booked a double queen room, however when we arrived they we booked up and we were given a single queen room. We did not think it was to big of a deal till we got to the room. Wow...

I booked an RV campsite #10 over the phone and was completely satisfied with what I received. I was told my site would be close to other RV's because this part of the campground is older and it was but it worked just fine. The folks on the phone told me up front what to expect and it was fine....

We stayed here last September. We came back to our campsite after being out for the day only to find that the firewood that we had bought off-site and had sitting by our camper was gone. I went to the office and spoke with the owner and he stated that he confiscated it because it was "too green" and then...

Based upon 25' RV site description it says 20'-30' RV, so I just assumed that this literally means that the site can take a 20'-30' RV. It does not. Had to cancel, and when we tried to get our deposit back on the complimentary cabin we rented she turned mean and insulting on how people "don't know how to book...

Below is the actual description that we have on our reservation interface for the site you reserved online: You'll notice that we do not generalize on what length of RV's will fit - each of our sites are VERY SIZE SPECIFIC and we make it very clear on our website the maximum length of rig that will fit in each...

Stopped here only due to this being a Good Sam stop. They haven't let me down in the past. Well I guess there is always a first time for everything. I called before arriving and they only had a site for my Rig with water and electricity only, that was okay. After telling me that they also had WiFi and...

Loved this campground! My family stayed in our RV. The staff was great and tremendously helpful. I would recommend this campground to anyone, and would definitely return! The showers were always clean, as well as the whole campground. The pool could have been a little warmer, but it didn't stop the kids from having fun.
