My husband and I stayed last August for several days. The inn is beautiful, clean and welcoming. It is off the highway but close to all the tourist attractions. Alone and Brian are great hosts. When we travel we stay only in B&Bs. This one is at the top of the list. We never

What a wonderful home. Location couldn’t be better between Deadwood and Mt Rushmore. Hour plus drive west to Devils Tower and east to Badlands. Proprietors more than the best! They are the most accommodating. I’ve been many places. Coyote Blues Village is incredible. Highly

Jon, thanks for choosing to review my bed and breakfast out of all of the places you've stayed! I'm glad the location allowed you to visit the national monuments and parks. I hope you make it back to stay with us sometime soon. I enjoyed our conversations and your travel stories. Best regards, Laine Mericle, Owner

We had a great stay at Laine and Brian’s place. It’s only a few miles off the highway but it feels like you are tucked miles away in the woods. The home is beautifully decorated but very comfortable and welcoming. We had the place to ourselves for a few nights and enjoyed the

My wife and I stayed here in 2011. We chose Coyote Blues based on our previous excellent experience. When we booked our recent trip we didn't realize ownership had change until we arrived. We then wondered if our current experience would be as exceptional as our first. I can

A family group of 10 booked for 4 nights. We should have paid more attention to the reviews. All the issues mentioned in the 1 to 2 star rating categories were experienced by my group. If we hadn't booked for 4 nights, we would have been ready to leave after the 2nd night

I'm sorry to see a review like this -- we always want our guests to feel that they are well taken care of. I wish you let us know that you were less than satisfied during your stay so that we could address your concerns before you left. Nonetheless, I appreciate you sharing your feedback, and if you'd like to discuss this more, I'd be happy to speak to you offline. Best Regards, Laine Mericle, Owner

Only Breakfasts are provided but they are in a Swiss Style and are very hardy. There are many good restaurants and places to each in the Black Hills.

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. I think we would be a great fit for you! The Lakota room would be open through July 28 and so would the European/Antique Suite which would give you more space as it has a little room beside the main room. You could leave both room doors open within the suite so your son would feel okay in his own room. You would also have your own hot tub on the private patio. In the Lakota room he would be on the (comfortable) fold down couch. The 4 night rate per night would be $180.- in the Lakota room, $190.- in the Antique Suite. Thanks Christine

"Look at the pix and choose what suits you."
"Turkish Room is larger than it appears in photos. Patio with hot tub is nice."
"This is a two story B&B as it is built into a hill. If you can not go up and down stairs ask which rooms are on the ground level."
"all of them seemed great. ours was downstairs if that would make a difference"
"Mediterranean room was very comfortable and private"
