I stayed here for a week while on a photo shoot for Cabela's. I had a wonderful time. The cabins are cozy and clean, hot tubs are a great way to relax at the end of the day. Watched the horses run thru the pasture...amazing! Can't wait to visit again!

I tried to cancel a family trip to The Guest Ranch, but part of my family couldn't join us. I arranged the trip in January, 2017 and cancelled in early February, 2017. Due to some up-front-stated policy, the Guest Ranch kept my $470 down-payment. So .... (take a deep breath) ... am not happy.

We stayed here for 2 nights in late June on our way from Michigan to Yellowstone and are happy we did because I think we'd always wonder what it would have been like if we hadn't ("Guest Ranch" has a special ring to it)! It was easy to find and in a good location fairly near other things we wanted...

If you are looking at the Black Hills area for your Summer vacation you should really consider High Country Guest Ranch, especially if your planning a family reunion. Owners John and Barb are friendly and do their best to accommodate your requests. Plenty of things to do right on property (outdoor pool was fun) and a large green space to...

We stayed here for a weekend in January. A few of the other guest ranches in the area wouldn't accommodate our horses for water in the winter but these guys did. The cabin was quaint and comfortable. The bed was sooooo comfortable! Very nice having a kitchen that is stocked with all the things you need too. We will be...

We stayed in a cute two story cabin with a jacuzzi tub. The location is great, not far from Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. The cabin was fully stocked with dishes and everything else we needed. The stars were amazing at night. We couldn't get any wifi, and phone service was very spotty. And the hot water ran out halfway...

While looking for my Black Hills gataway I found this place by accident and I'm glad I did. What a hidden gem. Close enough to all atractions but 5 miles out of town between the hills and forests. Quiet, clean cabins, great friendly staff, anything you need its never a problem. Best nights of sleep I've had in a decade...

We rented two ATV'S here for two hours. Very poor instructions to find trails. Takes 30 minutes just to get to the trailhead. Office staff not very friendly. Don't waste your time at this location. Tourist trap! We finally did get a refund.

As a couple without children looking for an individual cabin with some space to call our own, this place did not fit what we were looking for. We stayed in the Cowboy Cabins, which were all bunched up next to each other. We stayed a Sunday night at the end of summer, so it was relatively quiet, but if the...
