We traveled here for State VB. First off, the staff was amazing. They were friendly and helpful with whatever I needed help with. The rooms were so-so. Some updating had been done. The shower head was so low that we had to squat down to wash our hair as we are 6 ft tall - that was odd. For the...

I was in town on business and everything in town was booked. I contacted the hotel desk in the morning and asked if there were vacancies. The gal told me there was 1 smoking and 1 non smoking room remaining. I said I would take the non smoking room and asked if they honored a corporate rate. She replied that...

I found myself in Huron South Dakota a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to stay at the home of the world's largest pheasant-- Dakota Inn. Given this was the second stop on a 10 day motorcycle trip out west the Dakota Inn appeared to be exactly what we were looking. On the route, affordable, a bar & restaurant...

The negative reviews on this hotel seem to be from several years ago. I didn't find any of the issues mentioned in them to be valid on our stay. We stayed here for one night. The first room we were given had a heating unit that didn't work. After bringing it to their attention, the staff was right on it,...

I'm writing from the parking lot with complete gratitude for the hospitality of the owners, After making most of my cross country moving trip sleeping in my car with my 2 cats for the last 3 days, dealing with below zero temperatures, I stopped for dinner across the parking lot and thought to myself I should check and see if...

This is a great place to stay for Pheasant hunting opener. There are facilities to clean your birds, freezer space if you need it and Ice and laundry on site. Also they had a great continental breakfast while we were staying there. The staff was accommodating to having us drop our gear off early so we didn't have to drive...

The Dakota Inn is not a B&B, it's motel, and one of the better options in this town. It's got the world's largest pheasant outside. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable, and the showers are hot. There is a microwave and a refrigerator inside which is nice too. Staff was very nice and accommodating and the hot breakfast in...
