Very attractive rustic architecture outside and inside. The great room lobby is a wonderful place to relax in the evening by the fire in a large comfortable chair. Rooms are very satisfactory. Service was excellent. No cell phone service.

It will take you about an hour, because you are driving on 2 lane roads into the Black Hills. In the summer, expect road construction so that will add time. But, the drive is very beautiful so you won't feel bored.
