For a Saturday night in March it took an hour to get food to go. Food was good - nothing spectacular but we only ordered a chicken sandwich and bison burger with fries. I would probably order from them again or maybe dine in if they weren't so busy.

According to the restaurant website, I was expecting it to be open on a Sunday afternoon. It was wasn't, so I had to find another place to eat. Disappointed. I was looking forward to eating at a new place.

Sorry to hear this, we have struggled with all the social media sites out there as it is near impossible to get them updated. For instance our phone number on Google is incorrect and I have been attempting to get it corrected for over a year. This is frustrating as a business owner. Our winter hours (October - April) are...

Great place to stay versus a hotel room to serve as our base for exploring the Black Hills. Nice restaurants are nearby including Stampmill's own below the suites. Note the restaurant is open from 11-8. We ate breakfast across the street at the 808 and Cheyenne Crossing on the day we explored Spearfish Canyon.

The restaurant had amazing food, I suggest the worcestershire chicken! Very friendly staff and the owner is wonderful to deal with. The motel room was cozy and spacious. The attention to detail was very nice. Having the little touches that a standard motel just doesn't have. If I could give more stars I would!! Will be back again!

My wife and I decided to stop in Deadwood on our way to Utah for some hiking. I called hotels.com to find a reasonably priced room without paying for Deadwood prices that are expensive on a Friday. The guy on the phone offered Stampmill and we decided to give it a shot. A short cab ride away and we are...

"Lead's Own Bumpin Buffalo" has gone back to the original name of the "Stampmill!" If you are visiting the northern Black Hills, go to this awesome restaurant in the city of Lead, pronounced "Leed" if you want to sound like a "local!" Only a couple miiles from Deadwood. Amy and Kevin are the friendly owners! Kevin is a culinary trained...

If you get a chance to get one of these Victorian suites jump on it. The folks that run it are great, anything my son or I needed was taken care of. The restaurant that they run downstairs was very good. If you want to take in the history of the gold rush and the Black Hills come here if...

Stayed in Lead while on vacation. Enjoy eating at non-chain establishments when traveling. .Ordered fish & chips and chisnic--very good! Nice atmosphere, not crowded. Prices were very reasonable. Waitress was a little forgetful. Would defiantly recommend or eat here again!

Tried the buffalo sirloin, buffalo hoagie sandwich and the fat boy burger. All were excellent quality and very good value for the price. Chef was willing to make accommodations for gluten free needs. Staff was exceptional. So good we ate there three nights in a row!
