I get thus frantic call from my granddaughter this place is horrible. I told her check around and check out. With no rooms available there was no choice but to stay. She called there isn’t enough water pressure to shower or wash my hair. And the lighting is terrible. Being forced to stay they did. They went to there wedding and someone or somebody took her keys and going back to the hotel they couldn’t get in as no one is on duty after 11 or midnight. So back to the Grand Stay. The had one room and had to rent it to stay. She loved the place. Finding out her brother in law grabbed the wrong keys. Still no one to let anyone in.

Response from Jasbir S, Manager at Lantern Motel

Every door has a sign that the door will remain closed after 11pm,but the customer can open any main doors with their room keys, that policy to keep the door Closed is for safety of our customers and there is enough water pressure in the shower and at the sink faucet no one had complained in the past,if someone came with wrong key that is not our fault and there was any issue with the watet pressure they should come to the front desk, but no one came to the front desk with any concern even before checking out.

the owners have recently updated the breakfast area. It's very clean and it's a very good price. Conveniently located right off the highway. The staff is very accommodating to your needs, if there is anything you don't have, they will get it for you and make your stay comfortable.

I have stayed here off and on for years. Every time I stay it gets better. I would recommend if you are looking for a clean quiet location. Parking is not an issue, even with a trailer. The service was helpful and very friendly. It is located right next door to a great bar and restaurant.

Convenient location on main Hwy coming into town. We stayed two nights & enjoyed the continental breakfast & great coffee. Our room was very comfortable & clean, with a flat screen TV. Great service & all on one level! We would stay here again!

We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again. The continental breakfast was nice. They have Honey Nut Cheerios which is very nice for our daughter with Celiacs disease as it is gluten-free.
