I LOVED this place! Felt like staying with old friends! Very quaint, clean rooms with the modern touches. Breakfast was fresh and always on time. And we got to talk with the owners and other visitors. We actually met some nice people with kids and hung out with them for an afternoon! The location is perfect for seeing all the...

It was a perfectly nice place to stay and the price was right. The location is really not close to any of the local attractions but that was OK. If I were to be going to the area just for Mount Rushmore and Custer Park, I would stay in Keystone which is closer to those parks. PS. I was not...

Stayed at Big Sky Lodge in Rapid City because it wasn't a chain. View was AMAZING, overlooks the city and you can see for miles. Staff is friendly and very helpful. It is very close to Mt Rushmore and a short hop skip and a jump to the airport. Will definitely stay there again. Room were neat and clean the...

We picked the Big Sky Lodge because of the reviews. This place is fantastic. The location is perfect for sightseeing in the area. Very comfy beds, clean rooms, and amazing staff. Jay and Alicia, the owners are wonderful to sit and talk to. They are full of ideas as to what to see in the area. We sat in the...

So comfortable on our trip out west we stayed again on the way home. Very clean and quiet, good comfortable beds. No odors or need to spray Lysol. Able to park outside our door. Loved the view overlooking Rapid City, watching the full moon rise at night and the sun rise in the morning. Nice picnic area out back with...

Spent four nights here and what a great experience. Everyone there is friendly and know the area well. We rode a motorcycle from Texas and found this gem in rapid city. Close to all the attractions in the Black Hills. The rooms was terrific and the hot tub overlooking the city was the bomb. Bob at the desk will tell...

We enjoyed our stay at Big Sky Lodge. The rooms were a little dated but had everything we needed. The view of the city at night was spectacular!! Great stopping point before visiting Mt Rushmore. It is centrally located to all the sights nearby. The breakfast was typical yet appreciated!! Staff friendly and helpful

Gps does not take you to this hotel so if you arrive at night be prepared to be frustrated. We also arrived to a very large tarantula size spider outside our door. This is scary in the middle of the night in a rain storm. There was no one at the office at 10pm our key was taped to the...

Wish this guest would have called for directions, however all newer and updated Gps do get you to our door. Called the exterminator the day this came out and he said we were on his list in 2 days.We hope this guest will give us another chance.

I must have had a bad room...Everyone else reviewed this motel highly and I really disagreed. I was traveling with dogs, and a motel is handier. This was EXPENSIVE for one night and an ok-ish view. It's not like it overlooked the actual mountains, or Mount Rushmore...but the evening city view and the morning sunrise was nice. The beds were...

Our most expensive room in the "high" season is $125 plus $10 for the dog. $185 must have been from another motel. We recently replaced all of our TVs with new flat screens. Sorry this guest was here before that. Our doggy toilet area is large enough for most and there is an extremely large area to play with/walk your...

My entire stay was beyond my expectation. Family friendly, great views (saw double rainbow besides the lights of the city). Felt safe leaving our belongings in the room while on day trips. We were able to stretch dollars by eating some meals in room due to access to gas grill, in room frig, and microwave. Nice continental breakfast daily. Quiet...
