The location was great, but the sites were so close together, the our neighbors slide out almost touched our picnic table... which was located less than a foot from their sewer hose. The kids liked the playground, and the bathrooms were clean.

Superb location, outstanding condition, and the friendliest owner/staff team. We will most definitely without a doubt stay here again! This is not your standard concrete pad with a fake tree to park your RV on, this a nice quiet and trees in setting - within minutes to an incredible amount of place to go and see.

First of all, the roads in the campground aren't paved and are more than a bit rustic. If you're in an RV and that's an issue for you, be aware. But honestly, I don't think many of the area campgrounds *are* paved and straight. It's just the nature of the area. We stayed in the 1 BR guest cottage, and... More

We camped for 4 nights in July, they had clean restrooms, a great pancake breakfast and a well maintained campground. It is right next to Bear Country USA so you can see the baby bears from one side of the campground.

Rented two cabins, both were very clean and comfortable. All amenities worked as should. Plenty of parking for the ease of loading and unloading.. Friendly staff all around and ready for a warm greeting each time we met. If traveling to Black Hills as a repeat visitor or a first time visitor, you will find this to be a wonderful... More

We stayed at the resort five nights. We had 2 cabins with 2 double beds in each one. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, 2 burner electric cooktop, double sink, and table with chairs. Basic kitchen necessities were in the cupboards. A charcoal grill and picnic tables were handy. The pool and hot tub were very nice.... More

Very friendly staff, reasonable prices, nice shaded sites, and very clean restrooms! We highly recommend this campground. The location is ideal! Halfway between Rapid City and Keystone. Short drive to Mount Rushmore.

We stayed one night in a 2 bedroom cabin. As a family of six, we had plenty of room. One bedroom had 2 full/queen beds, there was a full kitchen in the middle and then another queen size bedroom & bathroom with shower off the other side of the kitchen. There was also a nice sized deck and picnic table in... More

I had a reservation for one night 7/18/26 tent. I was traveling with a few hundred Mini Coopers for a cross country rally. On the way to the campground, we hit a ferocious hail storm. We took cover under a bay at a Love's gas station until it was over. Upon leaving, I called Mystery Mountain and said I had... More

We're sorry you feel you received rude service here at Mystery Mountain Resort. You had called and made your reservation on June 16, 2016 and given a check in time of 12 noon to 8 PM. You were emailed a confirmation on June 17, which also stated the same check in time. If you felt the check in time was... More

Great people and a great camping experience. Big pool with a hot tub and mini golf, something for every age. This is a camp ground not a hotel but they do have cabins for rent as well. Very clean and close to many attractions
