What a wonderful place. From the view to your hosts, Mel and Dave, to the wonderful food. Truly enjoyed my time here. When you walked I the door at the end of a long day, the welcome was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

We went on an 8 kms. hike of the shoreline with a group of hikers last week. We had a planned luncheon at the Johnson Shore Inn afterwards. We were served a delicious beef and vegetable stew. Our dessert was an appetizing apple pie which melted in our mouths.

We stayed at the Inn in early October. Dave has a great website and was very responsive to our questions. Our room afforded a spectacular view of the cliffs and the sea. Dave directed us to some very private beaches a short walk along the cliffs. We enjoyed relaxed breakfasts and casual conversation with other guests. Everyone was entranced by...

Had the opportunity to stay in mid-September. The location is beautiful and the service is stellar. Dinner and breakfast must be experienced by all who stay. Mellanie and Dave are amazing hosts and make sure that your stay is memorable and relaxing. Take the time to unplug and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

I'll keep it short because you need to get this booked right away. This is heaven on earth, if heaven had a coastline. The best views ever of this magnificent island, fabulous food, generously poured wine, superb hosts Mel and Dave who know everything there is to know about the island and its many joys. Of which they are a...

We stayed for a week at this great inn during the fall of 2015. How much did we like it? You could read our five star 2015 review. A better answer is that we came back for another week in September 2016. Why? Wonderful peaceful location on a cliff overlooking the sea; comfortable rooms; great fresh food (we ate at...

Perfect spot for quiet R & R. Amazing views, hospitality, food, ambiance AND a welcoming cat ambassador. It doesn't get any better. Don't be detered by the long drive down the red dirt road, it is worth it!

What a spot! Prime waterfront property on Prince Edward Island's northeast shore, with a winding red clay drive surrounded by trees and bushes. When Johnson Shore Inn comes into view, on a grassy point where all you hear is the water lulling you into a near state of sedation, you can exhale. Peace. Quiet. Heaven. Mel and Dave run this...

What a wonderful stay at Johnson Shore Inn. Stayed two nights and were treated to hospitality plus, amazing location and two mind blowing sunsets, great home cooked meals with freshly made pies for desert. Great conversation and a feeling like I was family. Will definitely return when I return to P.E.I. Thanks Mel and Dave.
