The room was very clean for the most part, but the furniture was scuffed and needing some fresh paint. The balcony could have been a bit wider - it was difficult getting in and out at times as the door would hit the chair. The shower was gross and rusted. The floor sank in the middle, and the drain clogged on the second day. The water is very hard and could use a softener. The TV said we were supposed to have free HBO and Showtime with our stay, but then it said it could not be authenticated. I was frequently frustrated by the lack of amenities. No connected parking, parking wasn’t complimentary, no ATM, and the bistro and Starbucks were closed due to Covid. The hotel tried to make up for it by having a small shop, but its inventory was very limited. The major benefits were the staff, who were just as pleasant and friendly as they could be, and the location. It’s directly across the street from the aquarium, and we had a view of both it and the riverside. It is also in easy walking distance of everything, pretty much, and my niece particularly enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages go around the block from the balcony.…
Right from the start, the experience is annoying as the parking garage is the next block accessible through something of a tunnel that just feels creepy (especially at night). Didn't see any security. There is no valet parking available. Then there are NO amenities, no water, no ice, no personal bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc. That's in a community bottle on the bathroom wall, used by every guest. No indication in the room that anything was Covid cleaned, as in no bagged remote. The in-room coffee amenities bag was actually opened and one thing removed, as in the last guest had it and room cleaning staff didn't remove it. They only provided one towel and wash cloth and hand towel per guest (so total of 2 each) without offering additional towels at check-in. The hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a week. Also, the pool was not in working condition and looked like the hot tub was permanently off limits. To top it off, in the morning, I noticed tiny ants on the bed, the nightstand and on the desk. We'd brought in no food, so I know we didn't attract them. Very disappointing stay. I told the reception staff at checkout that there were ants in my room. I didn't get the impression she cared. Bottom line, I won't be staying here on my next business trip.…
The people that work there are nice! The location is A+. The shower is good and bad. Bad, because the pressure is low. Good because you get your steps in running around the shower to get wet. Beds were nice. I am not used to city living so this might not be bad for some but starting at 4 am every morning, Trucks were unloading stuff until about 7 am with the back-up beep beep gig that big trucks have. A side note: This is a "covid" time frame review but I felt sorry for Chattanooga with all the closed places and limited availability for most everything. I thought we had it bad in Nashville but this place is way way worse.
Wanted to do something for spring break so we had a girls weekend in Chattanooga.I chose this hotel for the location and for the balcony with a view. So glad I did. First, the view is AMAZING. You could see the aquarium and the river. Second, location was perfect. You were in walking distance to the aquarium, Riverfront park, Coolidge park, numerous resturants, IMAX, Creative Discovery Museum, numerous shops, and many other things to do. Now for the room. It was exceptionally clean. The furniture had a little wear on it, but it did not have dust. Beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy. Does not have a mini fridge however. Staff was kind, courteous and professional. Love it here. Will definately be staying here again.
Perfect location for downtown. We ended up walking to the majority of places we wanted to go!!! The staff was extremely friendly!! Small indoor pool, no hot tub and detached covered parking garage. The restaurant was still closed so we didn't get to try it out.
