Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful Hotel is well kept Location is close to interstate and a variety of shops and restaurants. Due to Covid. Bagged meals were available i what was one the dining area.
We stayed here en route home after a quick trip to TN. Unfortunately, this hotel is NOT up to Marriott standards. We would have left upon arrival, but we booked through the Bonvoy app. The hotel is located in a sketchy area, dated, no coffee maker, microwave in room (false advertising), and rooms are not very clean. We inquired about the loud HVAC system - sounds like a helicopter flying over the room 24/7! The staff shared it is dated, and there is nothing they can do about the noise. It is like that on every floor which is unacceptable - especially during the pandemic! Masks are not always worn by staff nor enforced. Found a dirty washcloth in the bathroom, curtains stained and carpets are very old. Will NOT be staying here or ever recommend!
We spent a couple days in Chattanooga, seeing the sites, while on our way to Pigeon Forge and picked this hotel based on the location and reviews on TripAdvisor. This place is absolutely gorgeous. Easy access on and off the interstate on the northeast part of town. Beautiful clean lobby really well decorated for Christmas. Every staff person we had contact with was cheerful and helpful. I swear the desk clerk at check in must work for the chamber of commerce, because she had more information about the area than a travel brochure could have provided. The room was immaculate and very up to date. The entire hotel looks brand new. This must be a very popular place for business travelers. There were areas set up just off the lobby that appeared to be work stations for laptops and printers. And about 8am the lobby fills up with people in business attire. There is a really nice looking breakfast/dining area, but it was off limits because of Covid restrictions. I’d love to stay here after the pandemic is over just to experience all the things that weren’t available during this trip. Coffee is available in an area by the front desk each morning starting at 6am. I wake up at 4am and they happily made a pot just for me. Great service! There’s also a little 1 cup at a time pot in the room. We were lucky enough to get a king room with a walk in shower. Not having to step over in to a tub is a big help at our age. The beds were very comfortable and I had to trouble falling asleep. There is an amazing amount of dining choices within a 5-10 drive. Everything from burger joints all the way up to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse within just a few blocks. There’s a large shopping mall and Walmart about the same distance. We forgot to pack a couple things so Walmart was a must stop along the way. There appears to be construction on every interstate coming in to or out of Chattanooga right now, so getting back and forth to Lookout Mountain and Rock City was a nightmare. Getting to all the other sites and places was pretty simple though. We enjoyed our stay here so much, that we will purposely seek out Fairfield Inn on any future overnight trips anywhere. Which we actually did on our way home thru Mississippi! We highly, highly recommend this hotel!…
Oh, well...you can’t have everything in a pandemic...the breakfast was better than or stay at another hotel. This bagged breakfast at least included a choice of fresh fruit and the pastry was 1/2 the calories of a mediocre muffin offered at the other place!!! The front desk service exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is clean and offered ample handicapped parking. We recommend a stay at this hotel.
Their website kept saying timed out so after several attempts to book on the road we waited until we got there and it cost us 16 more dollars per night. When we asked about it they just said that was odd. And then at 2:30 in the morning we realized we had no ac. You could turn it off and back on and it would work for about 2 minutes, would not recommend this hotel.
