The hotel/room was clean but the diverter on the shower was broken so not all of the water was coming out of the shower head. Most of it was coming out of the faucet. Then I went down for breakfast and got something to eat at around 8:15. When I was finished I went up to get my daughter so that she could come down and eat before we got back on the road. In that amount of time the hotel had put all of the food away and turned off the lobby TV (it was about 8:35am). It was bizarre. Breakfast was one of the reasons I had picked that hotel.
Stayed in room 117 on April 21, and could not connect to WiFi. Reported to front desk and they couldn’t resolve. Internet right to my room door - simply not in room. While it is acknowledged that COVID has made serving breakfast challenging- a healthier breakfast could be offered used boxed cereal, prepared fruit cups, yogurt and milk. We stopped on the way of town and bought pre packaged fruit, bananas and yogurt. The room was perfectly satisfactory.
We spent the night on the way to the Smoky Mountains for vacation. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was great. It is a pet friendly hotel, so there were lots of families traveling with animals. The animals were the only reason I gave three stars for sleep quality- we were next to dog who barked for most of the night.
The staff to include management don’t care or follow up timely. I called the property and emailed the General Manager yielding unresponsiveness to my concerns. This service is unacceptable on all levels.
Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk for 20 minutes. Three people were standing in line it took me 35 minutes to check in. I’ve repeatedly called the front desk but it went to voicemail and the mailbox was full. When we got to our room the door would not lock so we had to be transferred to another where the deadbolt did not work. It is a pet friendly hotel with absolutely nowhere to walk your pet or dispose of your pets waste. Stay away!
