This is a Quality Inn. Quality Inn's are designed to be a place to sleep and grab a shower when you're just passing through or have other business in the area that's going to keep you away most of the time. If you keep that in mind and are not looking for a Hilton experience while paying 75% less than what you'd pay at a Hilton, you will be fine. Pros: 1. Quiet Room (ask for one facing the rear/away from McDonalds and the highway. Other reviewers complained of noise and facing that side may be the issue) 2. Continental Breakfast 3. Well lit Parking Lot 4. Friendly front desk evening staff. 5. Modern exterior upgrades. 6. Nice enough rooms. 7. Interior Doors 8. Convenient area near front desk for drink/snack purchases. 9. Nice Lobby. MINOR Cons: 1. Bathroom door scrubbed against the door frame, somewhat difficult to close. 2. Tub/Shower combo but tub would not hold water 3. Arrived to a hot room (I get that its not economical to run air in an unoccupied room, however if a guest has a reservation, it's a nice touch to go ahead and assign the room and work to get the interior temp regulated prior to their arrival) at the least, shut the curtains to help keep the temperature lower. Especially when temps are hovering near 90 as they were when we arrived. I realize closed curtains aren't 'inviting' but I think most would trade that off for a cooler room. 4. Headboard threatened to fall off the wall. 5. Was messy on floor behind bed. Broken light switch cover, board that 'may' have come off the back of the headboard, etc. We would not have noticed had our lamp been unplugged and, due to no outlet on one side of the bed, having to run the cord behind the bed to the other side where an outlet existed. 6. No cleaning efforts in hallways or stairwell. There was a bottle full of what I 'hope' was tea near the door all three days, as well as the same piece of trash on the stairwell. Halls were not vacuumed. 7. Exterior door to parking lot designed to lock, but you had to make an effort to close it or it wouldn't. MAJOR CON 1. Checkout. When I arrived to check out, no one was at the desk. There was no bell or checkout instructions visible. I loudly yelled 'hello' several times to get someone to come out. No one showed. After 3-4 minutes I finally went to my car to get my cell phone and call the front desk. It was only after the front desk phone rang about 5 times that someone finally showed. I then told her I was checking out, she said 'Oh, well you just leave your key on the desk and that's it.' And how was I supposed to know that? Either please get a bell or put up checkout instructions if you can't man the desk and you'll have happier guests. Overall I give it a 3.5/5. Management would do good to walk through and check general condition of the hotel at least once a day (If they did, they'd find the stairwell trash) and there definitely needs to be better communication or a better protocol for checkout, but overall it's decent and I would stay again.…
Quiet clean hotel. Just what's needed while traveling. Very Professional and friendly staff. The staff proved to concerned with the safety of it's guest during the pandemic. Extra cleaning and wiping down of common surfaces was greatly appreciated. Thanks for a great stay.
My stay was good. However, when I got most of the way home, I realized I had left a very expensive watch that was passed down to me by my papa. I called the hotel and the phones do not work, I assume they are disconnected. I called Choice Hotels Customer Care and they could not get through either. Reservations dept couldn't get through. I prayed and hoped that whoever finds my watch I left on the desk next to the coffee maker in room 131 when I checked out on March 9th 2020. I tried the hotel number again on 3/10/20 and this morning 3/11 and still the phones do not work. Plays music for a second and then goes to making a rapid busy signal as if the phones are disconnected. This is my only avenue to reach anyone at the property as all other efforts have been exhausted. Please contact me 678-491-5886 or 678-467-4434 Chris I and let me know that you have my grandfather's watch and I will drive the 4 hours to come retrieve it. …
Friendly & helpful employees. Great breakfast area & delicious breakfast. Clean & quite room with really good TV & programming. Only thing that was strange was that the curtains by the window were set up not to close the whole way. The only thing that somewhat gave you a privacy through the window was a see-through, white, shear drape.Heater / air conditioner were top notch & very quite. Highly recommend for a great value & clean room, etc.
Very good location. Close to a few places to eat. Hotel offers a Hot Breakfast. Room was clean and up to date. Good location for business trips. Vacation trips would be good also If your in the area. The only thing I noticed was the wifi was slow. Entire staff was very friendly.
